Christian Schudlich

Are you related to the Schudlichs? There is a plot out at Trinity cemetery that Christian purchased on May 9, 1891--Lot 25 on Block 5 North--but the only indentifiable burials there belong to his son Fred's inlaws. That doesn't mean he isn't there (I've even wondered if my 2x great grandmother is there), but the record-keeping was so careless there is no way of finding out anymore. And there is no monument for Christ or his wife.

RE: Bernice Hansey Gravestone pix
I am sorry about not finding her marker. I searched three different times. I will keep her in mind in case I come across her at a later date.

Did you see the family Macikowski stone I have on Find a grave? Are you looking for more family? Barb

RE: Macikowski
I'm positive their names are not on a stone. For the past 1 1/2 yrs i have devoted myself to taking pictures of all the stones. I just happened to finish putting this section on line. Barb

I went to the cemetery last week to see if I could photograph the Fenske graves for you. I walked around for 2 hours with maps and couldn't locate them. I had a list of 14 graves and couldn't find even one of them although I took about 300 photos just by walking around and looking. It's hard to find people in this huge cemetery on 8 acres of land. The lady in the office was more than accommodating and wonderful, but alas, I came up empty for you. I'll see if another trip will be in my future. :)

RE: August Matchekosky Gravestone picture
It appears that there is a different family on this grave marker, no mention of Matchekosky of even anything closely resembling it. Didn't have a lot of time to return to the office but I will the next time I get there.

RE: Kuczynski's in St. Adalbert's
My wife's great-grandparents were Jan (John) Kuczynski and Frances Solomon. While I was at St. Adalbert's, I spent two days taking photos of any marker that could be related in hopes to put together more of the family. Closest I could do was add Jan's brother, Walter and his immediate family. Is this the family you are related to? If so, do you have more information?

If not, I'd be happy to transfer any of your family members to you.

Take care,

You are welcome. Here is a free website where you can find more information on your relatives.
Just click on SEARCH and then enter as much info as you know and let it search for you. I use it all the time to find my family members. I also love Find a Grave site and love it when there are photos of the tombstones with info on them.

If you send me the information you have, I would be happy to add the information.

Otherwise, I could also transfer ownership of the memorial to you. That way, you could add the information yourself.

It's your choice, either way is fine. Please let me know.

Hi there. I fulfilled the requests for the rest of the Gundi's. I found that the other names are there on the stone, but so washed out you cant see them. They are all buried right there. The overturned stone next to them is not any relation. Thanks

RE: Fred Rathke Gravestone
Hi. It could be that I was fulfilling a request from another member or that I saw it while out taking pictures and chose to take that one. I am not related. I'm glad you can enjoy it. If you want to take over the posting you are more then welcomed to. Have a great day! Britt

I have found all three graves. I will upload the photos tonight and add them tomorrow. I had no difficulty finding them. Thanks

RE: Aune and Lutzka Gravestones
"Cemetery superintendent" is what he stated when I asked for his name. The only words describing his attitude that come to mind are not fit to be printed. I was frustrated to say the least!
Yesterday I went to another cemetery, and the 'superintendent' met me there, and escorted me to each site! A breath of fresh air!
Ping me off site and I will give you the number.
