I have been researching my family over 30 years and now it is almost done. I am a Civil War Re-Enactor for 43 years and I am a Past Ohio Department Commander of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. I am also a Captain and Chief of Staff with the 3RD Military District of the Sons of Veterans Reserve. And take great pride in all my family members I have found famous or not. I am a 6TH cousin of General U.S. Grant, his 4TH great grandmother Mary Porter is my 11TH great Aunt. I am married and between my wife Michele and I we have 7 kids and 5 grand kids. Now they will know who and where they come from with my family research.
