Milton A. Stephens
Hite, Bowman, Stephens families
Hi Elise,

Enjoyed reading your memorials for the Bowman families. I am a direct descendant of Jost Hite, Mary Hite Bowman, Peter Stephens, Lawrence Stephens, Joseph Lawrence Stephens. Also Isaac Stephens, brother of Joseph Lawrence. Isaac's daughter Sarah Wright Stephens married George W. Stephens, son of Joseph Lawrence Stephens. They were my gr-gr-gr grandparents, and you can see some of their descendants memorials that I've created and submitted photo's for other family members.

Always glad to see other cousins that are creating memorials for our ancestors.

Thanks for your time and work spent with Find A Grave, as I appreciate what you have done, and hope other family members in the future can connect with our memorials.

Have a nice day, Milton

Phillips Family Plots
I have a map for Beverly Hills Cemetery and will be making a trip there in the next couple of weeks. If you would contact the office at 304-983-2236 and get the section name (each section has a name) and the plot numbers, I will be more than glad to photograph them for you. Just e-mail me the info. Please verify with them there is a marker to photograph. Glad to help.

You're welcome for the photograph. I wonder what happened to Eda M. Brutto. Her name is on the stone but with just a year of birth. You might have a mystery on your hands. Maybe she's still alive or buried somewhere else.

RE: Anna Taylor
Elise,

One of the things you have to keep in mind about Frankfort Cemetery. Some of the graves are listed under the owner of the lots or the husbands name only. That does not mean that the grave is necessarily the person buried there. I have found wives, children, etc. In the case of Edmund Taylor there are a total of 3 E.H.Taylor and 3 Edmund H Taylor. Edmund H born in 1799 and Edmund H born in 1840 are buried in the same Section. All the others are buried in different sections.

So maybe this extra Edmund is actually a child? Just a thought.

You've still got quite a bit of time. I have to move the ones I'm keeping to a virtual cemetery first. I just didn't want you to wait too long.

RE: Archie Bates
Cave Hill, especially in the older section, marks the lots that way. It sure helps when I'm searching for a grave. You did see that I mentioned Archie's grave was unmarked?

Hello Elise -
I see you posted a photo of the gravestone of D. M. Bowman & his wife, Virginia. I'm wondering if you have any connection to Virginia Smith's family and if her grandfather was Zachariah Smith.
