RE: Charles Scruggs FAG memorial
No, Jennie was only married to Charles, who was referred to as "Will". Jennie had Thomas Jefferson Hines, referred to as "Jeff", before she and Will were married. Will, however, was Jeff's father. Jeff's wife Carrie was my mother's oldest sister.

RE: Hubbard Cemetery
I have looked for information on T.C. Blanks, and I can't seem to find anything. I will dig through some of my Hubbard information and see if I can find his name.

Need your memorial page merged with another one.
Hi James, you created a memorial page for Coleman Dyer Find A Grave Memorial# 162147104 yet there was a memorial page previously created for the same person in 2014 by Michael Lynskey under the Find A Grave Memorial# 130489992. Is there a way for you both to merge these two pages together?
Thanks!
Holly

Mary Fannie Sparks Ferguson
Dear James Brooks, I want to thank you for posting the grave of Mary Fannie Sparks Ferguson. In the post you mention that she was a daughter of Sandy Sparks. I wonder if you know anything more about him, as he was my great-great-grandfather and I cannot find much at all about him, or the family he came from. Anything at all would be so very much appreciated.

Oakes-Reynolds Family Cemetery
Hi,
I am wondering if you are aware that this cemetery is listed under three different names? Yours being the latest but does have a full inventory with photos. Please contact FindAGrave and have the duplications straightened out as I wish to connect a family member with William A Reynolds. Regards, Louise

RE: Bell-Dudley Cem
John Meador was my 3rd Great Grandfather:

John Meador Bell>Peter Henry Bell>Henry Castle Bell>Ada Rosetta Bell McCallister>Thelma Fay McCallister Johnson>Pamela Joyce Johnson Harper. Thank you so much for replying with the directions we plan on visiting the cemetery this coming Saturday as we travel through Virginia.

I do have an Ancestry account but I maintain most of my information in Family Tree Maker. I have been researching our Bell-McCallister-Bird and Johnson family history for 45 years.

I am planning a trip through Virginia next week and would like to find the Bell-Dudley Cemetery that you mapped. Can you tell me who I need to contact to get permission to visit the cemetery? Do I need permission? What kind of access is there to the cemetery? My 4th Great Grandfather Bell is buried in this cemetery. I live in Hurricane, West Virginia.

Sharon Ragland
Isaiah P. Perdue
Hello from Montana. My name is Sharon Ragland. I was working on My Perdue family history and came across Isaiah P. Perdue. According to the "Family Tree Maker" that I use, it shows that Isaiah P. Perdue was my first cousin 5x removed. I read the "Milly Perdue vs Isaiah Perdue" on the 11th of October 1855 that was on his "Find-a-Grave". I was wondering where did you find that article. In the 1860 U.S. Federal Census it has Isaiah and Mildred together. Did they get back together between 1855 and 1860.

Cemetery Location
Good Day Mr. Brooks.

Elver Carter Linthicum was a cousin of mine and my family would like to place a tombstone at the site. Are you able to tell me exactly where that site is? I believe it's owned by someone else and I'd like to research who that is so I may get in touch with him concerning my family's plan.

Thank You in advance.!

Carol (Judy) Tear
11256475 George W Kessler
Hi,James. I am not so sure that George W Kessler(my gg grandfather) had a middle name of Washington. The George Washington Kessler, whom you referenced, was born in 1844 (he was 17 when he enlisted in 1861) and was the son of John and Elizabeth, according to 'Out From the Blue Ridge' by Morris Kessler. However, George W was born in 1820 and was the son of Jacob Jr and Barbara. Therefore, I do not believe that George W was a Civil War veteran.
By any chance are you related to the Kesler/Kesslers? Thanks - Judy K Tear

Hi James, I hope this finds all is well with you. I am starting a new project and was curious, how much of Mountain View in Franklin County have you did. I started working on it, got right much done across the street from the office, but I hit a stretch beside the office that looks like you had done most of it. Just wondering if you did all of that side of the road, if you did, it would save me lots of time. thanks and take care, Larry

Amber Lawson Salmons
Mildred Millie Perdue
I am just wondering about the age of the children you have listed for Isaiah and Millie, the reason I'm requesting is the dates are no way close to be correct. If they are the children of Isaiah and Millie then the dates of Isaiah and Millie are incorrect. The birth dates on children attached would make Millie to be about 5 years old at the time of their birth. Please verify the information on the attached children to make sure they are the right children attached to the right parent. Isaiah also had siblings with the same names and their children (Isaiah and Millie) had children by the same names also.
