|Doyle Sanders||RE: Rhoda Brooks Vanmeter|
Sorry Randy for this long delay, but I have not been on this site in ages. I got the picture you asked about from one of the Edmonson County Family History Books. There are two, but I can't remember which one.

I saw you had a photo request for Shelby Priddy's grave.
Shelby Priddy, with the same birth and death dates, is buried in Leesville Cemetery. The memorial number is 145328455.
I just put the photo of his grave out there.
He is buried next to his son Ray Priddy.
Just wanted to let you know.

Hi! The cemetery has a website where you can submit a request for information here:
It may take a couple of days to receive a response, but they always send a reply.

|Kathy Williamson||John Wood|
I was in Upton Cemetery today found Jewett H Wood and next to him is James E Wood born 1891 Died 1914 there are opther Wood graves there but I never found one for a John. Upton has a couple of cemeteries one is now been named where it had been referred to as the Black Cemetery for years. Could John be laid to rest else where?

It is a grave that is covered with a full length polished stone (marble or granite). At the foot of the stone are these words:
Loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Randy, Ancie Constant was my mother's half sister. I do not know if there is a gravestone for her. I will do some checking and let you know. Ancie's parents were Bertha McGinnis and
Lewis Wallace (Wallis). Her burial information was given to me by a cousin. My mother was the
second child of John Hood and Bertha McGinnis
Hood. Ancie was Bertha McGinnis Wallace's third child.

Hi, Randy. Am getting ready to add your Sanders photo requests, all accounted for, and a few more. While I was there some neighbors came by to do some mowing (it's immaculate), and said to tell you to come visit. Mrs ? said she grew up with Japath, and that his son (maybe grandson?) lives next door to the church. Nice visit, great little cemetery, and I look forward to a return trip sometime!

|Jeannie Mathis||St. Stephens Church in Lakeland . . .|
Hi Randy, I checked with St. Stephens Church here in Lakeland (it was the Episcopal one), and they said they have no cemetery with the church. Wish I could be of more help, but if you contact the Polk County Court House, in Bartow, Florida, (863) 534-4000, is the main number, and I would ask for the County Clerk's office, and tell them what you need. I hope you can find them!!! Jeannie

|Jeannie Mathis||RE: Thanks for looking|
Hi Randy!!! No problem, I was glad to try and help!!! I will find out for you if St. Stephens has a cemetery, and let you know!! Hopefully, they may be there!! The other option, if they are not there, is I think you can call the Polk County Records Clerk to find out where a person is buried. I know I have been trying to find one of my great-great grandfathers in Iowa, but I will just have to end up going up there. Let's see if we can find them!! Surely, they are buried together, or in the same cemetery. Will let you know. Thanks for your patience!!! Jeannie
