RE: John Osteen
My former Pastor when I lived in Louisiana (Larry Stockstill) and Pastor John Osteen were good friends. When Pastor John built the old sanctuary I believe in 1985, my pastor took they building plans and added an extra 500 feet to each side. I will never forget that Sunday service when Pastor Larry Spoke to us and mentioned to us that Pastor John had passed away, but I knew that Pastor John was defiantly about kingdom business and serving God with all of his heart.

RE: Kathryn R. Avera 106722175
I found her wedding article from 1904, N&O. Her full name Kathryn Robinson Rawlings. Dau of F.M. Rawlings. Sister was Carrie Rebecca Rawlings. Article spelled name as Katheryn rather than Kathryn which is on headstone. Let me know if you find Carrie. - John H.

I evidently looked at the wrong line. Should know better to quit when I am getting tired.

Her father is James Rufus Boseman 61218602 and mother Mary Elizabeth Dunn 61279805.

Sorry for the mix up but thank you so much for catching that.

Thank you also for all your hard work. What a task!

God Bless

RE: Sharpsburg Cemetery

I appreciate your kind words. I, too, could not understand why no one took the time to add photos.

I also try to find those not on the site. Some may be listed by no photos. Of interest, I am going to take photos of the Boonetown cemetery this Saturday. I was blown away when I finally located it. There is a deed to it registered in Nash County. All of this information I will be updating. I have some others as well I will be doing as well in the near future.

If you are on Facebook feel free to send you a friend request & I can link you to our camp page which you will find of interest.
I want you to have my email so we can stay in touch.

Great to hear from you!

The Lassiters
RE: Robertsons
Hello brother in Christ. The personal goal of mine is to take pictures of cemeteries, document location of cemeteries and to preserve caucasian history. I don't much worry about who documented who first or duplicates. Maybe I am in the wrong venue to do this, but I don't have time to start my own website right now. You have good information & history on your memorials. The more information the better. It's not my intention to offend.

Your testimony
I got a great blessing reading your posts. Keep on witnessing for the Lord till the Trumpet sounds!

1 Corinthians 15:51-53 (KJV,1611)

51. "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

Even so, come Lord Jesus:

Revelation 22:20 (KJV,1611)

20. "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

RE: Hamlet
No kin - Hamlet is a nickname my husband gave me and is from the Mr. Magoo cartoon which aired in the 1960's. Hamlet the hamster was one of Mr. Magoo's pets.

Listing in Allen-Claybrook Cemetery, Missouri
You listed an Aa Pittman in the Allen-Claybrook Cemetery. We know there isn't a Pittman buried there and kindly ask you to remove your listing. Thank you for doing this so we can keep an accurate record of burials in the cemetery. Best wishes. Eva Bachman

Margaret Ettie Little @ 91949453
Hi Again Bill!

Sorry, I don't to be a bummer on this.

On William's wife Margaret, I just found her Death Certificate. Margaret, passed on Oct. 28, 1935 @ 9:50 PM, and says that she 54 years old, meaning Margaret was in 1881. At least the DC was a lot clearer to look

If you ever decide to give these memorial's of William and Margaret to someone else to take care of, keep me in mind. My Member number is #47189316, been at it for 6 years now being my wifes side of the family, I don't mind.

Thank you, for your Military Services and Keeping Us, and the Great United States of American, Safe! GOD Bless You!

RE: Devaney Farrow Jennette
Hi Bill,
Thank you for posting. Devaney "Pop" Farrow Jennette, was my Great Grandfather. Quite a few years ago I received his personnel file from the National Archives. What a treasure it has been. Lots of documents and letters that shared insight of his life from 1908-1932, as a lighthouse keeper.Once again, thank you.

Suzannah McCuen
Northeastern Cemetery in Rocky Mount
I noticed that you, likely inadvertently, double posted several of the memorials in this cemetery a few months ago. Would you go through the list and remove the duplicates? I figure it would be much simpler for you to flip through the list on your own than for me to send edits on all of the duplicates. Thanks for all of your work on that cemetery.

John Thomas Pittman
Hi Mr. Pittman,
I am trying to verify parents of John Thomas Pittman. How did you determine the following as his parents? A family member of mine has different parents and I'm trying to confirm for my own lineage. Thank you.
Robin Womble Autry (Jack Womble, Eva Pearl Pittman, Harvey Guy Pittman, John Thomas Pittman)

Family links:
Benjamin Franklin Edwards (1866 - 1899)

That was silly of me!
Sorry that was a silly question (re: Where are you from originally)

Tar River/Tarboro/Edgecombe possibly!

I hope to in the coming year take my mother to Halifax and Edgecombe Counties to see where her family lived for so long. (Plus I'd like to make our way to Surry, Virginia and Jamestown (my grandfather is descended from a Jamestown planter who arrived in 1611).
