|Alice Adams||Looking for Two Moore relatives|
I am trying to find the location at the Fairview Cemetery for my Gr Gr Grandfather, George(a Civil War Vet) and his wife, Nancy. I believe she is buried there, too. Their full names are George Moore and Nancy C. (Young) Moore. Geo. serviced in the Iowa 21st Infantry, Co. H, from 1862-1865. He died Nov. 6, 1903, per a letter received in 1960 from the Iowa State Depart. of History and Archives, Des Moines. I have no idea when Nancy died but she was still alive in 1900,in Manchester(Delaware County), per the Census records. I am looking in both Farley(Dubuque) and Manchester, as they lived in both areas. Thanks much, Alice M. Adams

Thank you for all of your hard work. It can be a challenge to uncover older, broken, and unreadable tombstones.
I think the surname for Catherine should be spelled: AEPPLI

|Deborah Myers||Jefferson Lowe|
In 2011 you created a memorial for Jefferson Lowe (#76897916) and one had already been created for him in 2006 (#14171387). His real name was Thomas Jefferson Lowe but he went by Jefferson Lowe, this is why there must have been some confusion. It would be nice if you would delete your memorial since it was made after the other one and yours is a duplicate (see Find A Grave rules).

Just wanted to say thanks for all you diligence and hard work when it comes to all the graves you have researched on this site, as a fair amount of them are my relatives. It has helped me tremendously in tracing my roots. I really appreciate how difficult and mind boggling it can be. Especially when you have obituaries posted and calculated relationships. Thanks you so much!

|Linda Klostermann||Hardiman - Florence & William|
I am looking for the siblings, Florence and William Hardiman. Their parents are John F (88786118) and Bridget (88786133) that you have so kindly created.
The information I have on Florence is as follows: Born December 1888 and Died February 2, 1889. A family book states she is buried with John & Bridget at St. Martins Cemetery, Cascade.
William P Hardiman born August 9, 1886 and died June 1, 1974. William never married. It states he is also buried at St. Martins, Cascade.
Hoping you can confirm this information and add them to Find A Grave.
My husband is a Hardiman descendent.

|Bob Hurley||RE: Ellen McCann Grave|
OK thank you.
I guess someone was just being hopeful that Ellen was their relative. Ellen was the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Hurley of Jackson County Iowa. Her husband was Patrick McCann. He died in 1906.
I have the death certificate from Minnesota for Ellen showing each of the above facts.
Thank you for all of the work that you do on this project, particularly in and around the Dubuque area.

Hi Cheryl. On the grave site page for Ellen in Iowa you show the middle name of Johnston. Do you know how you found that? I am not disputing- I just can't find it.

|Sharon Leon||RE: Josiah Galbraith reunion info.|
I know what you mean. I was glad to know though that the reunion took place. I noticed also that I hadn't linked the memorial for one of Josiah & Mary Ann Galbraith's daughters to their memorials, so I took care of that. I have memorials for all of their adult children linked now. There were a number of children who died before adulthood, but I don't know where they were buried and am not sure of the names I have for those children. Thanks! Sharon

When I look through the Phoenix Groups transcription of the Infants Section of Mt Calvary, I don't see this name. Do you remember where you might have seen this marker, From the picture it looks like it's laying on the ground.I am interested in it because my wife's G Grandfather had 2 brothers who we have who disappeared from all records in the late 1800's and I am wondering if this might be a tie to one of them. I will walk this section when I have time. Thanks George

Any idea where this marker isolated in Mt. Calvary? My wife is related to all the Hermes in Mt Calvary but she doesn't recognize this name. Thanks George

|Sharon Leon||Josiah Galbraith reunion info.|
Thank you for the additional information. I see that they messed up the name of my great grandfather Moses Robeson "Rob" Galbraith by listing him as "Roberson" Galbraith. I hate it when someone does that sort of thing, but since this appeared in 1892, it's a bit late for me to complain to the person who was responsible. Sharon
