The picture was of the side of the obelisk that contained her information.
By the way Joseph had an earlier wife also named Bettie ( See Find 93513812)
The obelisk had the two Bettie's Joseph and Lillian, Daughter of Joseph and Bettie Gibson

Jacob & Andrew Arendt
I see you have maintained some Arendt graves Arendt County.

Do you know anything about the brother Jacob, Adam Andrew, and Leander "Coley" Arendt.

Jacob Brown in his 1896 book Brown's miscellaneous writing said they were born in Adams County, PA but later moved to Granstville, MD.

Adam Andrew Arendt is Memorial# 170514672.

RE: Kinnan
Thanks so much for your fast response and creating Memorials for Floyd and Mildred Kinnan. Thanks also for putting in the photo request. I have obituary bio. information I would like to add for each of them and also need to link Mildred to her parents (my paternal grandparents). I can request all those through the Edit Tab, but I would be glad to make all the entries if you just want to transfer the two memorials to me.

St Joseph Cemetery-Fioretto gravesite
Hi Shirley-I filled your request for John Fioretto. It is a family monument. The following people are listed on the monument:
(East side)
Anthony A. Fioretto (1907-1994)
Isabel M. Fioretto (1917-1994)
John Lee Fioretto (1938-1942)
(West side)
Catherine Fioretto (1921-1964)
John Fioretto (1874-1962)
Anna Fioretto (1881-1954)
Lillian LaBarbera (1910-1962)

There was a memorial page for Lillian so I added the pictures to her page. If you create memorial pages for the rest let me know and I'll post the pictures...Mary

Marie Holder
Good morning
I see you have a photo request for her.
I have the records for both Gnaden Huetten cemetery and the sister cemetery, Lehighton. There is no record for Marie or John Holder. Lehighton records begin in 1871. I also took pictures of each stone for both cemeteries and I do not have a photo for either person. Are you sure she is in this cemetery? There is a chance that they are buried in the Old Section of Lehighton cemetery where most of those old stones are illegible. Wish I could have been more help. Brenda

Samuel and Harriett Jones
Hi!! I'm sorry about any confusion I may have caused. The headstone is located in Barton City Cemetery. I guess I need to go by Lake Cemetery and see if there is a marker for Harriett there.

Kenneth Murphy
I have been up to the Florida National Cemetery, Kenneth Murphy is not in their computer system. I usually run into this when the person had been cremated and that family has not yet had them interred.
I wish I could have been able to fulfill your request...perhaps at a later time.

God Bless,

Bennett Cemetery
Thanks for removing Alexander's memorial. I checked a 1907 Ela Township plat map and the cemetery was not depicted. It probably was abandoned long before 1907.

Gladden, Alexander at Bennett Cemetery
I noticed you placed Mr. A. Gladden's memorial in the Bennett Cemetery, Lake County, Illinois, which I certain is an incorrect.

As per the 1910 US Census Cook County, Illinois, I found Mr. Gladden, a patient in the Cook County Hospital for the insane, as per his death information on Ancestry. Bennett Cemetery is about 40 miles north from the hospital where he was a patient in 1910. It would have been impractical for him to be interred there. The State of Illinois would have never paid for the transportation. Adjunct to the hospital grounds was a potter's field, this is probably where he was he buried, since the census listed his as single.

It's my understanding more than 16,000 were buried at what is now called, Dunning Cemetery. All unclaimed bodies from this Cook County hospital and the poor were placed here. Please be so kind and change Mr. Gladden's location to this cemetery.

I found an article from 1989 about the fate of the Cook County potter's field. See link below.

RE: Hawk
Shirley, that was quick! Thanks. Actually found 9 stones on the Hawk plot at Cedar Grove. I am in the process of adding memorials, and editing and uploading photos for all of them. Also have an overall shot of the plot. There are 2 Eatons (Helen & Thomas), 1 Wadsworth (Bertha E Hawk), 2 Eagles (Raymond & Bessie Hawk), and 4 Hawks (Catherine, Joseph, Robert & Mildred. Will drop you another note when they are all up. Doug

Of course! I'm glad I could be of help!

Take your time, the information isn't going anywhere. I have created and transferred the memorial page for Wm. Cunningham Fundenberg, Jr. The photo for Ximena has been added to her page.

I believe that all family members buried at Mountain View have been accounted for. Others are buried in local cemeteries.

If you have any questions or need additional information, don't hesitate to contact me.
