findagrave memorial 167174139 in Batesville Cemetery. At first I thought he was Sarah's father but by age impossible, do you think he might be a brother perhaps? It appears his death year is actually 1896 rather than 1898. Thomas J. Birch born PA appears on the 1850 census, Belmont, Ohio with wife Sarah and their children. His stone indicates he was an Argonaut 1849 which means he participated in the California Gold Rush of 1849.

Adaline/Ada
Yes, I had found Adaline and Ada and wondered if she was sister or daughter due to twenty year age difference. thanks for more info. I strive for accuracy and details on all my memorials even if I am not related, so appreciate your sharing with me. thanks!

Sarah name Sally
I put Sally because it was Sally Birch on marriage record to George Atkinson 1854.

Hi Cindy, I am curious about Ada Birch born 1838 Ohio. could she be daughter of Sarah? She appears on the 1880 census with Atkinson family and is labeled step daughter (difficult to read) Then she is on 1900 census with "nieces" Ora and Georgia Shotwell. ??? strange. Have you pursued her to determine accurate relationship?
and she is buried in Oklahoma with Orrel and Georgia. ???

thank you
I was doing some research and came up with a lot of same info you were kind enough to share with me, so I'm happy to have it confirmed as correct. I put a lot of details on Sarah's memorial page but will add more that you've sent.
You listed George Shotwell but I think Georgia Bertha Shotwell who married Richard Everett Lee is the child of George and Sarah. 51253863 She is buried same cemetery with sister Orrel in Oklahoma, Find A Grave memorial 37411149. thanks again for steering me in right direction.

Sarah Birch Thomas info
Thank you for sending details, as you could see on her bio, I was a bit confused. Might you know who Sarah's parents are and/or where George Atkinson is buried perhaps?
What happened to Annie Birdie Atkinson?

RE: McComish
Hey There!

Any memorials that you would like transferred, please click on the EDIT tab on the right hand side, and under "suggest any other correction or addition" just reiterate your request.

This way, the memorial number is given as well as YOUR member number. Otherwise, to sort through thousands of memorials - and do I have the right one? - etc. is formidable.

As with your request, to figure out what "associated graves" means. I would have no way of knowing what you would consider memorials being associated with each other.

FYI - some gravers will delete your request if it is not done this way because they don't want to deal with searching through all their memorials, trying to figure out who you are, etc. In fact, you will notice, that some gravers have disabled their message blocks so as to avoid this scenario.

Hopefully, you will take this message in the spirit in which it is intended and that it may help. Please feel free to browse all of my memorials and request as many as you like.

Thank you,
LezleeO

RE: Thanks
Your Uncle and Ramona and I had a great time together while I was their college student employee. Tell Ramona "Hi" for me. Tell her I still remember the Dandelion Wine Ed gave me samples of. Potent stuff.

Stagner Memorials II
I really appreciate your bringing the errors to my attention. Otherwise the errors might have gone on forever. Thanks again, Jerry

P.S. My maternal grandmother, who lived near
Blue Mound while growing up, was well acquainted with Speed Stagner and I ever took her to visit him one memorial day.

I did NOT post the links making Speed Stagner the father of children older than himself, nor the link making his wife 20 years older. I am working to get the corrected. Jerry

RE: Smmers Dean Cemetery
Cindy, all I did was post information gathered by my grandfather who did a tremendous amount of research--but having died in 1981, all of it was before the rise of the internet and was all done when I was a child (I was 15 when he died). So I don't have personal knowledge of the cemetery myself, which is why I don't have any pictures attached. (The cemetery's I have done myself are almost all photographed). You are much more active in genealogy than I am (we have communicated in the past on a few issues)--I go through phases of being able to focus on it but unfortunately have not been able to do so in several years and probably won't be able to do so for the foreseeable future. If you would like to take over management of this cemetery, I would be glad to transfer it to you. You are probably in a better position to answer questions people might ask and could make whatever changes might be necessary.

In fact, I was looking for your email address just yesterday because someone sent me a question about the parentage (particularly the mother) of Martha Dean--I have conflicting information showing both Ann Nancy Owen and Elizabeth Moorman--I know you have info on this family and might be able to get her a better answer. Again, my research is 30+ years old and was not done myself, so I defer to your more recent personal research. If you would send me your email address, I can forward you her email and see if you could help?

Thanks,
Sarah

Many memorials!
Thank you so much for contributing so much interesting information to several of my memorials. I love all the photos too!

If any of these are ones that you would like to manage, please feel free to put in a request. I have no intention of just collecting of bunch of memorials - these are meant to share!

Thank you again:)
