Rufus and Laura Larned
Hello David,

A recent correction request from Bob L. (#48228855) for en entry I created in Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, Minnesota prompted some further research. It seems the entries you created for Rufus Davis Larned (141653484) and Laura Ann Larned Hutchinson (141648173) match the memorials I created in Riverside Cemetery. The memorials I created are:
176754849 - Rufus D Larned
176754812 - Laura A Larned

Since your memorials were created first, according to Find-a-grave guidelines, they should be the ones we keep. Could you please add Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, Minnesota as the burial location for these two people?

If you would, please also add the plot information I had on the memorials I created:

Plot: Section 4 011-2 - Rufus Larned
Plot: Section 4 011-3 - Laura Larned

Thank you and best regards,

James Huey
Don't know if you received my email regarding James Huey. He is buried in Mt. Vernon Cemetery and I have added more info about him on his wife's (Sarah) memorial.

RE: Beth Carlberg
Thank You so very much David for your thoughts. I'm actually her granddaughter Marinda Leslie. I was taking care of her the last few months. She was very ready to go and be with her other family all of which had died so many years before. We miss her greatly but are glad she is not suffering with all that comes from being her age. I hope you and yours are well and that you are enjoying the fall weather...

Sincerely Marinda

Buddy Leech
RE: Benjamin Wells
Hey David,
I am not a descendent of Dr. Welles, but would accept and maintain his Memorial #90673014. I see that you have plenty to maintain. I am the "Cemetery Person" for the Wayne History Group, Town of Wayne, NY. Welles Cemetery is in the Town of Wayne. I'm new to this kind of work, so am learning as I go along. I've started the long process of getting him a brass plaque to commemorate his Revolutionary War service. The "brass marker" set August 1936 is gone without a trace.

As for the list of his children, I was working to link him and wife Sarah Nelson Welles to their children buried in Welles Cemetery and elsewhere. Pretty sure I found the list on, so should not be credited for the research. You say, "The above info donated by Buddy Leech." That isn't quite giving me research credit. If you want to credit, that would be okay. I'd have to check family trees including Dr. Welles to see who had this extensive list.

RE: Pace/Austin
Hi David,

Got your message and wanted to let you know I am related to the Austins. Sarah is my Great Great Grandmother. I recently received quite a bit of info on Austin family from descendents of Henrietta Austin.

RE: Pace/Austins
Incredible! We are distant cousins then! I was just in Austin, MN last summer and found the grave of Sarah in the Oakwood Cemetery. Hopefully we can share info.

RE: Pace/Austin
Yes. My GM is Velma Pace, daughter of Roy Pace. Roy's parents were William Pace and Sarah Austin. Sarah's father was Stillman Blanchard Austin.

Hi David-

I added the information for the Radloffs. I had pulled newspaper articles about the accident a while back and not gotten to adding the info, so I added that information as well.

I have been going through this cemetery and adding memorials for individuals. I actually had not gotten to this section yet, but I had seen this headstone when fulfilling a photo request and it caught my eye because they had died the same year. I guessed it must have been an accident and that is why I pulled the articles. Such a tragic accident.

If you don't have the articles, I can e-mail them to you.

I noticed that you did not have the information for Lydia & Bartlette's other two children: Ella M Butler Sutherland. I am researching where she died. The other child was Emma Josephine Butler Rouse dob Dec 1858 Wisconsin; dod 18 Nov 1931 Pasco, Franklin, Washington. I am still researching this family so if you find anything else please let me know. Thank you, Meg
