I completed your photo request for Mr. Altmann. He is with his wife Ruth, so I loaded a photo on her page, also. Double click the large photo for location information.

I have never seen a Texas Ranger marker before, most interesting. There were several shots so if you need me to add or delete I will be happy to.
Thank You,

RE: Sarah Owen
Are you interested in any of the other Owens in Cave Hill? Did you get the lot card??

RE: Elvina
No, I don't usually take photos of ajdoining graves in the Range areas as they are usually one or two people, but I do look at them and Vinie's husband is buried in the National part of Cave Hill. Someone has taken his photo.

No problem what so ever. I live around the corner. So I don't mind going. My father, brother, uncle, cousins, etc. are buried there as well, so I always say a quick hello to someone!

God Bless,

I completed your photo request for Anna M. Schaefer. Unfortunately there is not marker for this grave. The lots in this cemetery are clearly separated, usually with a concrete "curb". I posted a photo of the lot.

RE: Johanna
I so wish when I go to the cemeteries that the headstone will be found. I wish I was 40 years younger because I am so passionate about finding headstones and now the weather is not kind to the old body. I would do this 24/7 if I could.

Elizabeth "Bitsy" (Gibson) Wagner & Chester Wagner
Memorial# 69708356 - Leopold Bauer
Hello Jayne,
Thank you again for adding the great close-up photo of the names engraved on the monument. You had said in an earlier email that for some reason (cyber-space problems probably) that you had not received the "link" to connect Leopold to his father Gottlieb C. Bauer - which you did when I wrote to ask you to post the additional photo to Leopold Bauer's memorial.

I've noticed another Edit that I had submitted on the same date to list Leopold Bauer's place of birth as being in Germany that one still hasn't been done - so I deleted my original Edit just now - and have used the Edit tab again to submit his birthplace was in -Germany. So I hope you receive the new Edit done today on 10/30/2014 - to show he was born in Germany. I'm very sorry at this point in my research I don't know for certain exactly where in Germany he was born yet. Maybe someday I will find out.

Thank you again for your fine work on Find A Grave which is very much appreciated by millions.

Thank you very much Jayne for posting the great "close-up" photo you took of the "Treue Der Union Monument" in Comfort, Texas, where the engraved names are so clearly legible to Leopold Bauer's memorial. I really appreciate you! You've made my day and night!

Leopold Bauer - Memorial 69708356
Hello Jayne,
Thank you for your work on Find A Grave which is very much appreciated. I would like your permission to post your "close-up" photos of the Treue Der Union Monument in Comfort, Texas, in which the names of the men in one of your photos the names are listed on the side of the monument are clearly legible.
The photos you took are currently posted to Ernst Beseler's Memorial# 69708396. I would like with your permission and giving you credit for the photos to post them to the Memorial# 69708356 for Leopold Bauer.
This past week I submitted on Leopold Bauer's memorial 69708356 (by using the "Edit" Tab) that Leopold Bauer's father is Gottlieb C. Bauer, Memorial# 51413716.
I have been able to link Leopold Bauer's two sisters to their father Gottlieb C. Bauer recently. Gottlieb C. Bauer's other two children were Caroline Bauer Simon (1836-1878) (Mrs. Ferdinand Simon) and Charlotte Apollonia Bauer Cramer (1844-1914)(Mrs. Ernst Christopher Cramer). It will be so nice when all three of Gottlieb C. Bauer's children are connected, or "linked", to their father's memorial when you are able to approve the edit I submitted to "link" Leopold Bauer's to his father's memorial.
Thank you again very much for your work on Find A Grave. These specific names as mentioned above of my family members has been especially gratifying to find on Find A Grave. If you will allow me to add your photos to Leopold Bauer's memorial that would be wonderful.
Best regards,
Elizabeth "Bitsy" (Gibson) Wagner

You are quite welcome. I may try to get better pictures but the contrast on the stone inscriptons were even hard to read by eyesight. I may try for a better pictures in the near future.

You are very welcome. It is on private property. I had to make a delivery there and had the opportunity to take the photos. I just feel bad that I didn't get a few. But it is in disrepair and some stones are missing. Best wishes.
