transfer?
Hi Susan, long time, no chat. In looking thru my ancestors at Find A Grave I see that you are the maintainer of my greatgrandfather, George Rousseau, 49437058. If you would like to transfer it to me, I would be happy to have it.

RE: Joseph Curbo(w)
Hi Susan - I'm not sure yet how or if my husband is connected. Possibly the James Curbow (son of Joseph)....but nothing yet to actually tie them together. I'm still plugging along. This has been a hard family to research. Thanks for the information, and best regards, Judy Curbow

RE: Mary Polly Whitfield Rimmer
Susan,

It looks as if the furthest back relative we share is William George Rimmer. He is my 4th great grandfather. Here is a link to his profile in my tree.

http://person.ancestry.com/tree/15644802/person/358810477/facts

I am assuming you are on ancestry.com.

You will see that Elizabeth Rebecca Rimmer is a sister to my David Alexander Rimmer.

I think you'll find some good information that way and likely generate some hints and links to fill in your line of the Rimmers.

This weekend was the annual Rimmer Reunion in North Carolina. I hope to get there on of these years. Two years ago the family erected a monument to the family. It was quite the deal. I will send photos to your email account.

Starlyn Frank
RE: Myrtle Nichols Frank
I am married to Kenneth Don Frank, Jr. (Kenny Frank). He is the son of Kenneth Don Frank, Sr. who was the youngest son of Myrtle Frank. So, I am Myrtle Frank's granddaughter-in-law.
I really loved Granny. I have the last picture taken of her. I plan on posting it onto Facebook on her birthday. (I have to find it. It was taken in July 1989)

rsweet991 is Rhonda Frank Sweet. She is Kenny's sister. She is doing the geneology stuff and Ancestory.
She has found a lot of history. She doesn't do "Find A Grave"; I do.

My regular email is: happystarlyn@hotmail.com

I asked Kenneth (Kenny's dad) if he knew you and he didn't.

Kenneth has a Facebook page - but he hardly ever posts to it.
Take care.
Starlyn

Hi.....I do Curbow research and came across your memorial for Joseph at St. Moriah in Gwinette County, Georgia. Do you have a source for the May 1754 birth in Maryland? Thank you!

RE: Mary Polly Whitfield and spouse
Susan,

I am sorry that I am just now replying to your message. Unfortunately, when you sent the message I was in the hospital and finally getting back into the swing of things.

Yes, I am a descendant of Polly Whitfield Rimmer. She is my sixth great grandmother.

Oscar J. Groebl, Jr. (O. John)
+ Della V. Flynn & Oscar J. Groebl, Sr.
++ Mollie Bell Bettis & James W. Flynn
+++ Charles H. Bettis & Olia Viola Maynard
++++ Francis R. Rimmer & George W. Bettis
+++++ David Alexander Rimmer & Delila Hayes
++++++ William George Rimmer & Mary A. Whitefield
+++++++ John Rimmer & Mary Polly Whitfield

She is buried about 100 miles southwest of St. Louis and a group of other descendants and myself laid a headstone for her, since she never seemed to get one. It is a fun story to share and I have photos and a little newspaper article about it. Find A Grave Memorial# 97604156.

I have a good amount of information about the Rimmer family I can share. Are you on also on ancestry.com?

Please give a shout back and I will share what I can.

Edna Mae Turner
I checked all my photos around Ednas husband and his brother and other Turners but did not find her headstone photo in that section.
I did find the same photo Susan downloaded in a different section, mine has no flowers.
I can only download the same photo but I do not think this is what you want. As you can see I left flowers in May 2015. Please let me know your decision.

I was there again yesterday - still no sign of a stone for William Newton. If you go on - southernmiddletennesseecemeteries.com - go to Pisgah Cemetery - it lists William but states that he has no stone. Sorry.
