|Lesa Trimble||Thank you!!!|
i was researching my great-great grandparents, William and Mary Elizabeth Shepherd and had absolutely NO idea where they were buried....i always figured they were tucked away in some little family cemetary that I would never find.... Ancestry.com linked me to Find-a-Grave.... and there they were!!!! I live in Fern Creek, and this cemetary is not far from me. i plan on making a trip to the cemetary this weekend!
Thank you so much for what you do !!
I am interested in becoming a volunteer also!

This is the first time I had noticed that a photo had been added for Joseph Englert. Re your message: I know that Joe was born in 1932. He could not have been in the Korean war, had he been born in 1953. I wonder why the close family has left the marker as it is?

|Mark Browning||RE: Knob Creek Union Church Cemetery|
Yes it is a genealogy book that I have been working on over the past year. It is titled "The Descendants of John Muss and Elizabeth Ceise: Exploring Four Generations", and encompasses 1824 to present day. The matriarch of this family of well over 100 people today is buried in Pauley Cemetery. Her husband, John, was buried in Dayton, OH. They both immigrated from Prussia, met here, and settled near Knob Creek Church. They and their children attended this church.
Your photographic contributions will be a welcome addition to the book.

|Mark Browning||Knob Creek Union Church Cemetery|
Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo requests for James Foster Jr., Martha E Walls Foster, and Samuel Joseph Bryant. I greatly appreciate it. I made a trip out there last year and must have taken photos of over 50 headstones in this small church cemetery. I should have spent more time taking photos when I was there. I did not realize at that time that virtually everyone in the cemetery is related to me.
These 3 people that you took headstone photos of are discussed in my upcoming book. I would really appreciate it if you would graciously allow me to use these pictures in the book. Please let me know if this is OK? I will give you full credit in the book. The book is thoroughly referenced. I would use "Karen Daniels" as the source in my reference unless you wanted me to also include a middle name (or a different name).
Thank you again for your help,
Mark Douglas Browning
