|Kim0811||Chief Charles Whiteside|
I wrote an article about the history of the Chattanooga Fireman's Fountain, a memorial to two firefighters who died in the line of duty, for 9-1-1 Magazine several years ago. He was their Chief and was burned while heroically trying to save them on the scene. It would be my honor to send you a full-color scan of the article and I should have my historical research somewhere that I could include as well. The fountain was unveiled in 1888 by Chief Whiteside's young daughter, so if they are relatives of yours you might find that interesting.

|Desertthorn||FYI, I found this in the FAQ section|
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
Please do NOT add newspaper article or obituary scans. The photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos and possibly a portrait photo of the person, if that photo is owned by you
The reason is because obituaries often list living relatives and children and some relatives get very concerned about that.
If you could just copy and paste the info and remove the names of the living, that would be wonderful.

|Francis A P||Ehpraim Blaines burial location|
I would like to get anymore info you have that you would like to share on his burial place. Several internet sites say it is The meeting House Cemetery at Carlisle ,PA . You posted it's a cave in Middlesex. It is 3 miles east of Carlisle.
Having been such an important figure in Carlisle and colonial times, I am curious why facts are hard to ascertain.

|Patricia Taylor||Isabella Carmichael Donaldson|
I cannot recall if I told you or not that I found info at the DAR Library in Washington, DC, that Isabella Carmichael Donaldson, daughter of Daniel Carmichael and wife of Andrew Donaldson, died in Decatur, AL, and was buried there. She was on her way back to TN from MO. She and sons, William and Daniel, and their wives had moved to Jackson Co, MO in about 1844. William, his wife Lucinda, and Daniel died and are buried there.

I see you have added what appears to be an obituary and another document - a military form to the Find a Grave record for Lt. Col. James Chamberlain 1745-1819.
I am interested in the original documents if you have them digitally you could forward to me - or if you can send me the links where I can find them.
Thank you very much for your help. James Chamberlain and his wife Ann Sample are my 5th great grandparents.

I have figured out that you are not only a relative of my grand children through their dad but a relative of my husband who is their step-grandfather through Anna Levering who married into the Fry family. then the Carpenter who went to Ky and settled Carpenters Fort. We are in the hospital right now and I don't have all the details with me but I am very interested in the complete Fry family and now that my grand children are also Chamberlains in your family -- their granparents are Emily and Danny Chamberlain from Vernon TX. I will look at 3 fold and get back to you. I have also discovered your other find a grave entries and appreciate that they are done and we can just pull them up on computer and see stones and pictures. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hello! I am no relation to Isaac Barton, but happened to come across his obituary printed in the Knoxville Register in 1831 (right above a much-less-interesting one-line death notice for my ancestor). If you would like a copy of the obit, please let me know.
