|josiewales||RE: Asa Wilcox|
Your Welcome! I did search for the other Wilcox requests, but did not find them. Asa's headstone is on the ground and many of the headstones are just not readable. :-(

Thank you! After sending your message, I looked online and found the LDS family history center in Salt Lake has the whole cemetery listing on microfilm, so I'm going to go there and look for it. I'm only an hour from there.

Back in 2011 you added a very lovely photo for Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY, to the cemetery's home page. I was wondering if you have any access to a listing of who is buried there, or know who I could contact to find out? My husband has ancestors there and I believe his 3rd g-grandparents are buried there. I would like to find out. Thank you.

Your Asa link is correct, the Lottie McNeil link should be removed.

|Susan Houghtaling||Wrong Links for Parents|
I am very sorry if I sent you the wrong links for parents of Hannah Marie. Her real parents are indeed Asa Wilcox and Elizabeth Doyle Wilcox - not sure how or why I would send you rhe links for Asa Andrew and Lottie McNeil Wilcox. I do not have links for her real parents, but Asa is buried in Minisink Cemetery, Orange County, NY. I do not know where Elizabeth is buried. She is my 3rd great-grandmother.

Yes, the grave site is in the empty space between William H. Bowler, and Mary Fleming in plot 8882 (the very pointed stone on the right, behind the large cross). I have added a plan of the plots and marked 8881 in red. The photo is taken from the path that runs from the bottom towards the right of the plan, standing adjacent to plot no 8217 (Patrick M. Grant), looking towards the top left.
The whole of plot J of the cemetery is for those of the Catholic faith.
If I can contact you privately I will send you further information.

Thank you for your message advising that I posted a photo to the wrong Thomas Gleason's memorial page. Sorry! I have deleted the photo from the Thomas who died in 1867. Someone else has already posted it to the Thomas who died in 1897. So, it looks like you're all set now.

Thanks for posting the pictures and write up on Seth Marvin. I think it the fault of wear and tear, not the photography; but if possible can you add the transcription of the stone. I'm married to an Abigail daughter of Seth descendant.
Thanks again. joy

I just noticed as I was uploading the pictures for you that there are 2 stones right next to the large one. I don't know why I didn't notice that earlier today. I will go back and hopefully they are the two that you are searching for.

I went to wellwood today. I located Abraham and Jacob Kaplan for you. I didn't see an Ida Kaplan. There was only one Florence there but her last name was Stoloff. I will everyone's picture that I mentioned.
