Amos Michael "Big A" Randall
FYI! I sent you an Edit for "Big A" attaching him to his parents, when searching the Randall's looking for his parents for his sister who just passed I noticed you have 2 memorials the same day for him, it's the only duplicate I see, The edit I sent was the one K Simon added his headstone pic on #125833010... Big A's duplicate memorial without PIC #125833014

I have a photo of the Wade/Berry family that was taken in Raphine, VA in 1938, from a book called The History of Greenville, Virginia, written by our local author/historian John Brake. Ordinarily I would just post it to the memorial, but I thought I should ask if you would mind since you have the newspaper clipping at the top of Walter's memorial. BTW, his nickname was "Dutch". John's wife Mary Ellen is the daughter of Howe Spitler and Marie Berry.

Just use the edit tab on each individual memorial, and family will be linked.

RE: Laura Pennington Baily
Thank you for contacting me. I have been using Find-A-Grave as a resource for years, but am new to adding anything.
Laura was my great aunt, she was my grandfather's, (Cecil Pennington) sister. I have been trying to update a few members of the Pennington family. I also added Ralph Pennington as the brother, but it has not been updated yet.
I have a few old photos I am thinking of adding. My grandmother had a lot of old pictures and I have scanned and shared as many as possible with relatives who are interested.
I have group photos that include Charles Howell. I remember him and son Danny.
I haven't lived in WV for a long time, but still think of it as home.

You're welcome. Yes it's great! I added some biographical pages to several of the Harmans that contain a wealth of information that you might be interested in.

RE: Elizabeth Haman Brown
No I am sorry but I am afraid I do not live very close to Greenwood. My job takes me all across the U.S. so in between meetings I find myself strolling through local cemeteries to clear my mind. I do not always remember my camera but I have gotten into the habit of bringing a notebook with me which is how I found and entered your Elizabeth. If I am in the area again anytime in the near future and the photo is still unclaimed I would be more then happy to wonder back in and fill it for you.

RE: Smisher
Do I know where who is buried? I don't know the Smishers. I am related to the Swisher family and most of them are buried in the Mount Hermon Lutheran Cemetery in Newport, Augusta County, Virginia. If you are looking for someone in the Swisher family, I'll see if I have anything to help you. God Bless!

Hi Ann,

Iím not related to the Wade family (James, Charles, Walter and Angie at New Prov). Would you like to maintain them? I would prefer they stay with family, than having them maintained by Find A Grave. You have their parents. Best

RE: Carla McMullen Harman
Carla Mae McMullan was b.16 Sept 1931 to Charles and Etta McMullan. She graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX, in 1948. Graduated in 1952 from the then Texas Women's University in Denton, TX with a degree in psychology. she had two older brothers and one older sister, none of whom ever married. She married William Louis Harman (date and place unknown) and there are no known children. His mother was Lolita Ann Bertus Harman. One known sister is Patricia Lawon who lived in Plano, TX, in 2007. William was b.21 January 1930 and d.5 Aug 2007. His mother lived with them in Rocklin, CA, At the time of her death on 17 Aug, 2007. It appears Carla then moved to Plano to her sister-in-law's home, and subsequently died there 25 October 2007! Apparently all three were cremated; Patricia had a memorial service for them in Plano, and subsequently buried ashes in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans. And that's all I know. Thanks for responding and best wishes. Norma Hickson

Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,

Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia,Rockingham Va,Hardy WV and surrounding area.

A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.

Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25feb2015. F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.

Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

Thank you.
E49 Created above Statement

PS
If anyone gets Find A Grave to transfer memorials cared for by ProjectMgr Just a heads up I dont delete any connected to ProjectMgr.I worked hard to replace all the memorials that had been deleted.Find A Grave choice to re-upload the Old Deleted memorials And we work free on this site.So if anyone wants our memorials Have Find A Grave Merge them or if you dont have a problem merging then more power to you.

I do want to thank anyone that has helped with my duplicants created after the major upload of old memorials formerly deleted.I really appreciate the help
