You are very welcome. Glad to help. I photo graphed her husband John's grave as well as Jacob, George and Florence Groll who are on the backside on this monument (not sure if they are relation or not).

Leslie Leroy Roby in Pleasant Hill. Do you know any information about him? He had three children by Merle Beaver. Was wondering if he had children by the other three wives. Thank you for any help you can give. Brenda

Can you do me a favor and double check your records to make certain that this person is buried in Mt View at Glendale. I just added photos for practically every grave there. I walked the entire cemetery and photoed every legible marker and added to this cemetery. If its not already photgraphed then either I missed it, its not marked, or hes not buried there.
Thanks, Ollie Banda

You requested a photo of his stone. His memorial is in name Ted Van Zant and there is a photo. I will notify James to delete the memorial with the wrong spelling. I will also ask that your photo request be deleted. Thanks, Linda

Thank you so much for finding this headstone. We seldom get to Missouri and don't know when we'd ever get it on our own.

|Gary McCarty||RE: Family? Continued|
William's father Dennis McCarty Jr, along with Dennis Sr, were very close to my gggrandfather Albert McCarty(1807-1850?)in Edgefield,SC in the early 1800's, and Albert & his desc. remained close to that family even many years after all moved to MS. I was in contact some years ago with a wife of a descendent of Dennis Sr.(you may know them, Robert & Connie McCarty- they did much research on Mcs & others in Edgefield)told me that Albert was not a son of Dennis Sr. but that it seemed as though he was a son. We both had a genealogical dna test done and we didn't match, meaning that we were not kin, at least not paternally, so it kind of seems like Albert may have been raised by Dennis Sr and just assumed the name McCarty. A lot of other Mc desc. from SC did the dna test and matched with others, but no McCartys have matched me yet. Albert went to the same small Salem Church in Edgefield that the other Mc's went to, & Connie said that all the members were tied somehow, so I think it's a possibility that Albert may have been the son of a close female family member(who wasn't a Mc) that may have died when Albert was young leaving Dennis to raise him, so it's a possibility that I could be related to the Dennis Mc family maternally. I am half kin to Dennis' daughter Sarah Mc as I wrote, & so I would be kin to her Estes children for sure, but I haven't studied them enough yet to find out all the Estes and other ties - so any info will be appreciated!
