checking dates
I think I have a connection and information on these people but none of the dates quite fit.
So I want to explore it further to be sure these are the correct people. I have an actual copy of their marriage certificate. It says April 18, 1889. All the names and places fit other wise.

RE: Schanen graves
Patty,

Thanks for the speedy response. I'm so grateful to you. We are expecting snow here tomorrow too. Where is Spring?
If you can find little Marion that will really be a huge step forward when I contact the Diocese of Milwaukee regarding the burial records.
Look forward to hearing from you when the sun comes our again!
Kindly,
Dawn

Pennola Nolan
Otto's
Hi Patty,
It is stated in Rella Boigegrain-Otto's obituary that she is buried in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Institute, Wisconsin. As is her husband, could you please check on this for me?

Alfred H. Otto 1903-1975
Rella Biogegrain-Otto 1905-2003

And do you know anyone who would be willing to do an obituary look up in the Institute library for me? Thanks, Penny

RE: My cousin's grave
Hi,

Grandview has no record of Marjorie Frances Boalen being buried here.

However, I saw your request just before leaving for the Recorder's Office, so I checked her death certificate and according to it, she was sent to Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin, Minneapolis, MN for burial on 7/5/1990. You may want to contact them for confirmation.

Lakewood Cemetery is here on FindAGrave:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=82700

Other possibly useful info on the d/c:
Father: Edward Butler - MN
Mother: Frances Cheslik - MN
Informant: Winifred Riske (aunt) - Royal Oak, MI

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your efforts trying to locate a headstone. Unfortunately, sometimes these older cemeteries needed some tender loving care in order for them to be able to honor the dead that are there.

RE: Thank you!!
You're welcome. She was buried next to Wesley, Charles and Ella Morton so I created memorials for them too.
