transfer or update
Would you consider transferring #150031601 and #150031602? Hazel is my 1st cousin, 2x removed. Most of their family members I'm managing so far are in Prestonville Cemetery in Macomb, MI. Her parents are there, and she is listed on the family marker, and in a seperate memorial, which I will have removed once these are linked. I've been transferred everything in this family line, but these 2 actual memorials. If you'd prefer to update, please link them as husband and wife (1931-wedding year), and her father is #129555166 and mother is #129555142.

Thank you so much!!

RE: Percy George Hook Robinson
Thank you so much for the quick reply. Marshall was Percy's youngest son and Collnetta is Marshall's wife. If you have a picture of Percy I would love to have a copy. His daughter married one of my first cousins when he was the minister at Trinity church on Mackinac Island.

Percy George Hook Robinson
Hi,
I see you have a memorial for Collnetta LaFrance Robinson in St. Stephens Cemetery. I am looking for the grave of her father in-law Percy GH Robinson and believe he may also be buried at the same cemetery as he was the rector for a while at St. Stephens. Is there any way you could find out if he is indeed buried there. He was born in 1855 and died on Mackinac Island in 1925 where he was rector of Trinity Episcopal Church. His death record does not list a place of burial.
Thank you for any help you are able to give.
Meg

Find a Grave reminder
Greetings...

Our policy (found in the FAQ section) states that newspaper article/obit images are not to be used as photographs in the photo section of memorials. Those are more suitable for an Ancestry.com family tree page. On Find a Grave, the photo section is reserved for photos of the person's grave, and, if owned and available, a portrait of the person. Death Certificates are currently acceptable. Also, any photo/image found and copied from the internet should never be used. Leave the photo area blank so that someone who does have legitimate photos can use it.

Elijah Goodell at Elmwood Cemetery
Hi Tom,
Do you by chance have a larger picture of the monument that is sitting adjacent to Elijah's stone? I can read that it says "May A, wife of," which I find peculiar, because his wife was Axy/Achsah/Eche. Do you know if there are any other Goodells buried near him?

Thanks!

RE: Michael Metcalf
Hello Tom. Have at it. Before sending this reply, I reviewed, edited and added to Michael's sketch, the additions solely for clarification versus a change to my prior writing. Sometimes I feel over-explaining is necessary to prevent misinterpretations by persons unfamiliar with the problems involved with documenting ancestors who lived prior to the 1700s.

RE: Joseph Rainey
HI Tom,

I did some checking and Joseph Rainey was born June 14,1907 Indiana and died Oct 1977 Randolph co Indiana.

From checking records it looks like he is a son of

William and Mary Rainey who can be found in the 1930 census in Washington, Daviees county Indiana.

William T. Rainey born 1876
Mary Rainey born 1877 Ohio
Children.
William born 1904
Joseph 1907
Harold 1908
Hellena 1909
John 1912
Norbert 1915
Wilbur 1919
Paul 1920
Regina 1922

Also there is a William and Mary Rainey in Delaware co Indiana, buried at Beech Grove but the obits does not mention a Joseph Rainey.

Hope this helps some..

Have a Great Day
Dave
