Harold W. Harmon
Thank you for your time and kindness in the photo of Harold's headstone. I recently learned he was my father so this is some closure for me since I never knew he existed or had the chance to meet him.

RE: Harold L. Adams
Hi Jim, I appreciate the suggestion. I research every soldier through the Archives, Ancestry, Newspapers, Findagrave, etc. I have been able to get confirmed information on about 80% of the 1230 soldiers who passed through Company A from Nov 1942 to May 1945 (lots of attrition). It's more difficult for soldiers with fairly common names, such as Harold L. Adams, unless I can correlate a hometown or parent's name in a newspaper article or some other record. Fortunately, along the way I have received lots of help from good people like you who make this search fun and enjoyable. Thanks again, James

Harold L. Adams
Hi Jim,
Thanks very much for taking the photo of Mr. Adams gravesite. Unfortunately, it confirms that he is not the Harold L. Adams from my dad's WWII infantry company. The description on findagrave says 1924-2000, but your picture of the tombstone clearly says 2001. If the dates were the ones I was looking for, I was hoping there would be a rank or army unit inscription on the gravestone. This was a big help. Thanks again! Best regards, James

Helen Sanada
Mr. Webster, thanks so much for taking the time to photograph the resting place of Helen Sanada. It is a wonderful photo. There was a photo of the marker on a competing website that literally has a tire tread mark across the stone!
Thanks again for the great picture.
Request permission to upload the photo to my tree on Ancestry.
Thank you.

I know, the stone was so white, maybe even painted. And the letters and numbers were badly weathered.
There wasn't much there to photograph.
I will try to get you a better picture..

RE: Photo request-Webster
I'm so glad you were able to get a photo taken at Chapel of the Light! Their policy has been so frustrating, especially considering that there are whole cemeteries' records being put online to use now in Fresno Co. & for free. Glad you were able to get it in time for Memorial Day too. Thanks for letting me know.
