RE: Alexander Hamilton Jones III and wife
Dear Linda,

When I was working that cemetery, I made it a point to check the back of each stone looking for a spouse. I am sure I may have missed some so I can't say one way or the other. May I suggest you call the cemetery directly @ 310-268-4675. They are very helpful.

I intended to fix it but it looks fine on my end. Send me your email address and I'd be happy to send you the original file for your records.

RE: Richard Emory Houseworth
The West Laurel Hill Cemetery data base says he is buried here. But it would be good to verify with the cemetery to see if he truly is. Sorry there wasn't a stone. If you find out that there is one and he's buried someplace else, please let me know and I'll go get a photo.

Yes, I'm on My tree is right now called cj-kh-family-2013-07-13 but I had problems updating it the other day and will be re-uploading my tree in the next week or so. It will be called cj-kh-family-2014-10-10. Syncing the trees hasn't been working lately so will try to do a new tree on there with more information on it. It might also be found with my ID of readerlake1. Luella Stacey was my great grandmother. Tena Ethel Carr was my maternal grandmother. Althea Brown was my mother.

Yes, you can capture the photos of the Stacey family. They were my second great grandparents. Who are your grandparents that are Stacey's?

You are welcome. The area the cemetery is in is overgrown and full of ticks. We made the adventure and all is well.

You are so welcome.

You're welcome. I was happy to see he had a stone (since the records indicated "no stone").

:) You are very welcome, I work out there at the Indiana Veterans Home, which is where that cemetery is. So it was super easy for me to get the photo for you :) It was in a section I was already photographing so it just worked out very nicely. :)

Alexander Hamilton Jones

Are you a descendant of Alexander Hamilton Jones. I found the photgraph and it indicated that the person posting it was a descendant. If so, we are related thru both Alexander and Sarah. But, I am part of the family back east. I noted that Sarah is linked to my ancestors William Brittain and Rachel Clayton.

But, Alexander's grave is not linked to the graves of his parents George Washington Jones (73513846) and Nancy Jones Jones (73513602).
I have been trying to link the children of this couple to the parents. But, since Alexander is shown as a famous person the normal methods for linking are not available. Do you know how to accomplish this link.

If you are family, I think you will find the link behind Nancy Jones Jones interesting. The Vanderbilt family allowed us to mark the Joshua Jones Burying Ground in 2003. It is on the Biltmore Estate in the area of the vinyards on west side of River.

Your very welcome,
I took the photos several years ago, just seems Im so busy adding new memorials to new cemeteries I never get back to ones I have photographed in a timely manner, I often do entire families when I see a request come through this area, the shoemakers have allot of family buried close to the church, most I believe have memorials and photos, you notice any that dont let me know as i have 600 photos of the Brick Church yard,
