RE: Illness, Insurance Companies, &c.
Finally changed insurance company and new one approved ALL tests ordered. So far nothing has shown up that we did not already know about. Still have another lung test to do and results from heart scan not back yet. New cardio took me off one med and I do feel better. Two docs think lung spots are old scars and new inflamnation, one still questions. However, can't do biopsy because not large enough spot to hit. So , just thought I would let you know latest. Thanks for caring.

James Thomas Bales
Dear Ellen, Hope my additions did not confuse you. I see you have done an excellant job of tracing the Bales' family. Thanks. I was unable to locate burial place of James Autrey Bales and wife, Katie Ray Kilgore. Probably in Hall or Jackson County. Thanks for all your fine work on Find A Grave. Sin cerely, Wesley Martin

Prayers to you
Ellen, I just read what you have been going through this past year or two. I am so sorry that you have had to endure so much. Prayers to you and stay strong.

All the power and glory are Ellen's
Now, and forever. I remeber how fair a person yu was to me during all that blood and guts of the old forum. I had to take down ALL my near family sites. I don't want to go back to those battle weary days on wounded knee. All the character assassinations and frontal attacks nearly got me down. You were a light shining in the dark, and I am sorry if knowing me drug you down into hell. I love you.

Thanks again for caring. New insurance company now, and hoping for better results. Feeling better right now. Med change helped BP issue.

RE: Asa V. Bradrick
Thank you for your response. Just thought Asa is an unusual name, and combined with initial V and last name Bradrick even moreso. No rush on this question. Thank you.

Asa V. Bradrick
Hi~~Hope you are doing well, and thank you for all your work. I just noticed an Asa V. Bradrick in Washington and thought the name might be more than coincidence. I have an ancestor by same name in Union County, Indiana. Do you know what the "V" stands for in your Asa? Thought there might be a family connection.

I just read your bio, sounds like life if tough right now. Hope you feel good and stay cancer free. Sounds like you have a lot of meaningful things in you life, reducing stress and being happy is supposed to decrease the risk of cancer recurrence. Of course, each cancer is different, but I am sure the easier you make it on you body, the better it is for your health. :)

lucinda cagle
I have looked through the mandatory guidelines and see how I don't fit because of the four generations. The only thing is I have never had a problem getting a transfer of a direct line. I got my 3great grandmother transferred. Don't take this the wrong way but you have been the hardest person I have had to work with. I am trying to keep it palliate and i ask the same from you. Since you are not a family member to lucinda and I am and since you have not done research on the Cagle family I ask that you transfer her memorial to me. I think it is very rude to not transfer a relatives memorial to a relative. Please allow this transfer.

Thanks for your support
Hi Ellen, I just added you to my list of friends. Thanks for your understanding why I got upset seeing my family pictures and genealogy copied and posted on other internet sites. I have since removed most of my family pictures from memorials. Find A Grave information has helped answer some of my questions on death dates and burial location. I only make memorials for relatives, close friends and ancestors. I am not interested in seeing how many that I can enter.

RE: Family pictures on FAG
Hi Ellen. I reported the Find A Grave member who stole my family pictures and genealogy memorials and put them on the GENI site. It took a long time for Find A Grave to answer but they did asking me the memorial number that was taken. I don't remember and cannot find it again. Watch out for the My Heritage and GENI sites. When you think what you put there is private it is not. I am just sick to see my 20 plus years of genealogy research spread over the internet under other peoples names. Find A Grave is now part of and any memorials you make pop up when you do a surname search.

RE: Fallen Graver
Yes, Mr. Bud was a wonderful human being. We will all miss him.

RE: Thank You
Oh Ellen, Thank you! that is so kind of you, but it was an honor to be able to do that for Bud. Bud was indeed a good, kind, "set your sails kinda man". I "met" him years back online & met him again at my brother-in-law's burial. Bud was oh so worthy of a "heart" beside his name. He gave much. If we can only be as good. God Bless & thank you again.

Grave Photo - Seaborn Milligan
I would like to thank you so much for the grave photo of Seaborn Milligan!! I live north of Atlanta, and it would have been difficult for me to get it. It's so nice of you to take the trouble to do this for people you don't know.

RE: New forums
Hope you got things sorted with the Facebook group.
The new forums are too sophisticated for this primitive phone. I can't post or do anything much, except Like things :(

RE: Missing You
Hi Ellen, sorry I haven't replied sooner. I'm giving myself a much needed break from the forums & the main site. I just wasn't enjoying myself as I used to. I started adding a few memorials & keeping up with edits a couple of weeks ago but not everyday like I used to. I'm easing back into it. I'll be back to the forums soon - I do have moments of missing it. :)

I hope you're doing well - did I read you're in remission? I hope that you are.

Thank you for thinking of me and keeping in touch. Please know that you're in my prayers.

Talk to you soon,

Hello Ellen, I miss you very much
It has been 3 weeks since I was in the Find A Grave Lounge, and I used to go there everyday. I am very proud and protective of my family on Find A Grave because that is all I have left in my life. It is a void in my life to not participate in the discussions at the lounge. I miss you Ellen. Very much :(

Re: Infant2, etc. Unknown
I was required to take all the numbers off. So, just in case. But, then I don't think you are watched constantly, that is my special treat I suppose.

I was just reading about the loss of your Mother, I am very sorry to hear this. It is something we never get over, but, we will learn to live with it someday.

Also, I had no idea you had cancer. I have just gone through this with my only daughter. I hope you have done as well as she has. They can do so much for it now, than they could when I lost my Dad to it, in 1979. Back then they still had Cobalt Treatments, that was very hard for Daddy. Will keep you in my prayers.

Have a blessed week.

I was wrong
Her profile still has negative remarks about you, and the contact email address is still there. I must have looked at the wrong person. You know who I am talking about.

Negative Public Messages are gone
Ellen, thanks for the reply about someone taking my pictures and Find A Grave memorials and using them on genealogy sites. I confronted this person with a Public Message, and she has now removed all her Public Messages (including the nasty things said about you). She has now changed her Find A Grave profile not to accept any messages. Hope you are feeling much better.

Family pictures on FAG
Ellen, I read your profile and hope you have won your battle with cancer. Someone has been making copies of my family pictures and adding them to genealogy websites on the internet. If it is a group picture, she crops out individuals and uses them like her own pictures. She has copied some of my entire find a grave memorials, (which is complete with Bio and pictures), and adds them to a website called GENI. I did not know that this was possible. Now a memorial under my management shows up on the internet, and I cannot delete it or make any changes to it. I saw where you had a problem with this same Find A Grave person.
