Was recently given an old copy and then located it online: He twice refers to my great grandfather Alex Stuckey and his older brother Charlie. It confirms they both were at Gettysburg; Thought Alex was, no prior proof though, did not know Charlie was. Thanks Very Much !!!

Gary Bonney
Hannah Pumphrey/Martin
My name is Gary Bonney

I am related to Hannah via the Pumphrey Line. My grandfather on my mother's side.

I have been working on the Pumphrey line in my family tree. I came across Hannah's memorial in Find a Grave # 71935957.

I sent a correction to you taking Pumphrey off as her middle name since she was married to Martin last. Pumphrey could be added in bio

I looked her up in Ancestry and found a tree that shows her husband as Amos Martin born 1873 Florida. Could this be correct? Also I found they had two children Eva Mae born 1912 and a Private Male child.

In the cemetery that Hannah is buried there are 18 martins listed, There is a Pansy Amenda martin born 1912 same as Eva. Could they be the same person? Amos is not listed.

I hope you can furnish more info.

PS I tried to email you direct but it wouldn't send.

Looking forward to working with you.

James Monroe
James Monroe was a proven liar, he was NOT born on the 7/4/1815. His memorial page & biography has been extensively reviewed & approved by A.J. (Find A Grave administrator) and NO changes will be made. Please don't submit any SAC's as none will be approved.

Leesa Stevens
Pippin, Pippins, Pippen
Hello Ms Michelle,

My name is Leesa Pheasant Stevens and I have been working on my family tree since Jan 1996. I was given several sheets of paper with hand written names and dates and was told they came from a bible that belonged to the Pippin/Pippen clan. I took time to find several of the names already on Find A Grave and i was hoping to get with you and get all these names assocaited with each other in hopes to help myself and others who are working on the Pippin/Pippen family.

My email is if you wish to contact me. Just so hard to get it all done by this board.

Thank You in Advance
Leesa P Stevens

Mary P Gwaltney Tucker
I added her name & location of burial in the bio on her father's memorial, I cannot link her memorial to his. You'll have to request that she be linked by sending an edit to the contributor that maintains Mary's memorial.

Col. John Walker
Hi Michelle:

I am new to genealogy and have just learned that I have DNA that match the Walker family I am researching the Walkers and found that I am related to Col John Walker....6th great grandfather. Phyllis Jane KELLEY (1929 - 1980)

Jack Butler
John Butler, Pippen Cemetery
Hi Michelle,

I just noticed that you have John Butler's birth and death as being in Calhoun County, Florida. John Butler was actually born in Georgia - I don't know the county or town. He died in Jackson County, Florida. He is buried in Calhoun County because the Pippen Cemetery - originally his wife's family cemetery - is located there.

John and Mary lived in Calhoun County for a good many years, but moved to Jackson County shortly before John died, to take up a homestead claim.

RE: transfer request
Hi Michelle -
I am usually happy to make transfers , but I have 17,000 memorials. I don't know who you are interested in when all you give me is Aunt Hardee.
Please go to the memorial and use the 'edit' link and then 'suggest a correction'.' If Aunt Hardee is not my family then I will gladly transfer the memorial to you.

Benjamin Strickland's grave
I went to Zoan Methodist Church Cemetery and looked for him, but I didn't see any Benjamin's there. There are many Strickland's. Do you have any other info that could help with finding his stone? Like another family member that he might be near or something like that. A lot of the stones are worn and hard to read. It's possible I missed it. I will go out again to look, but I hope you have some info that could help. Thanks
