|Ted Holmes, Sr.||RE: Photo of Martha Volentine|
I've reposted the photo. I'm not sure why it had disappeared unless the memorial was somehow overloaded with pictures. It now has the maximum allowable 5. I'm not sure of the purpose for having 3 pictures of the same gravestone. Also, in the FAQ section on pictures, we are advised to not put cemetery gate or sign pictures on the memorial pages. There's already one on the cemetery page.

|W. Estrada||Infant Son Curry|
I have the obit for the Infant Son Curry who passed on January 25, 1913. If you would like me to add the obit, you'll need to remove at least one of the pictures of his headstone. Please send me a message if you do, so that I'll know to add the obit. I am not related, I just came across it while reading some old newspapers.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Hi, I noticed that you added the photos of my grandparents, M.R. and Betty Friday, and I was wondering if you were of any relation to the Friday's or had nay more pictures of them.

|Ron Osborn||Fred and Ina Gabehart|
I am the wife of Ron Osborn. Ron's father, Wayne Wesley Osborn was a brother to Fred Gabehart's wife Ina May Osborn.(Fred and Ina's nephew) The families didn't visit each other often so my husband knows very little of his relatives. I've made it my task to try to learn more about the Osborn family. While I was researching Fred and Ina, I came across your name on "Find a Grave". We live in the Phoenix, AZ, area, and would like to know how you are related to Fred and Ina. All of Ron's aunts and uncles on the Osborn side are gone now, as well as their spouses. Ron's father, Wayne, died in 1982 and his mother, Dorothy, died in Nov. 2013. They both died in OK where Ron grew up. Ron stays in touch with Charles Gabehart, Ina's son. He lives in KS. Are you a grandson or nephew of his? We would like to know more about you and your family connection.

|Cindy Starling||Mary Poly Clay|
Hi Alan, I am working on the Clay side of my family and know that a mother (Margaret Muse Clay) and 2 of her daughters and their families left NC sometime after 1800 and moved to Amite Co MS. The 2 daughters married Lea's and are buried in 2 different Lea Family Cemeterys in Amite County. Nancy Lea is buried in Luke Lea Family Cemetery in Liberty. Sarah Sabrina Lea is buried in the Lea Family Cemetery at Lea Hall in Huron. Margaret Muse Clay, the mother, is buried at Lea Hall in Huron also. I am trying very hard to locate another daughter of Margaret named Mary Poly Clay Sibley and have read she may be buried in the same Lea Cemetery. Her husband Elijah Sibley died in 1831 In Mecklenburg, NC. I have Mary Polly dying in 1858. I would just like to ask if you would be able to help me with this and perhaps if you live close maybe you would be able to look at the Lea Cemetery. Thank you for any help you can give me. CS

|jan james||RE: Sally A. FISH/Joseph SANDERS|
Alan, were you able to find a Death Certificate for Sally or an obit? I've found one Death Certificate stating the Mom's last name (Branden) but am trying to prove that out. I'm hoping to find a few more from other siblings and see what we can come up with. I have found some information on a Branden family living close to Joseph A. FISH when he first bought property but don't want to work on speculation. ALSO, I have a few photos of Sally that you don't have on Find A Grave and wondering if you have others just not shown? If you don't have other photos I'd be happy to send you what I have.

|Ted Holmes, Sr.||Photo of Martha Volentine|
Alan, I have a photograph of Martha Elizabeth Coon Volentine #5469844, who was the grandmother of my half-brother and half-sister. I tried to post it in the memorial and can't do it because too many photos have already been posted. If you'll send me your e-mail address (see my profile for my address)I'll send you the picture, or if you'll release some space, I'll post it myself. Thanks.

|Mary Lavezzari||Henry Maggard SAR|
Did a double take on your memorial. I like the idea. I have a question about Margaret Maggard and Henry Magart DAR patriots. DAR doesn't want to recognize Jacob my 3rd GGrandfather as one of Henry's sons. I am hopeing you might be able to advise me where to look for a proof. firstname.lastname@example.org Mary Lavezzari

OK thank you for your help on this. It gets confusing when "parts" of names are used. This definately gives me more info to work with. I really appreciate your making time in your life to help with the job of identifying grave sites to post online.
