Regarding your photo request...

I believe that Joseph was laid to rest at St. Joseph's (also in Fitchburg), not St. Bernard's.

Though the death certificate says St. B, both the newspaper and extracts from the Aubuchon Funeral Home give St. Joe's as the place of burial.

I'll send a correction along to Kathy, but wanted to let you know.

-Bill

RE: Another question
Would you mind putting the photo you took of Roman Prodan's grave on Teodora's site? Her number is 133905957. Thank you! It has to be the person who took the photograph so I can't do it.

RE: Another question
I see now on the stone that Teodora's name is first, on the top.

RE: Another question
Thanks, I see where Teodora is buried in the family plot. She was actually the first to die so I'm surprised her name is not on the headstone. Can you read the writing on the stone by any chance?

I was surprised by your photo to see the surname spelled Prodon. I assume it was changed later to Prodan.

Another question
Can you translate the writing on the photo you took of my grandfather's grave? Also, his name was Roman, is that spelled Pomah in Polish? I have also submitted a request for a photo of my grandmother's grave if it can be found. Thank you so much

I can't thank you enough for taking a picture of my grandparents grave. I found out the date of my grandmother's death which I never knew. Keep up the good work!--Wendy Prodan Hegy

Polska,

I see that you have added a photo to Rose Shumski Find A Grave Memorial# 131220992. It appears that you only added a photo of the side of the grave. Did you take a photo of the front of the headstone as well and forgot to upload it? If that is the case, I would very much like to see it. Please let me know.

Sincerely,

Mike K.

I located a stone with this name but the dates are off by a little. This is the only one I was able to find with this name. I have pictures if you want them. I have not posted them to find a grave since the dates do not match what is listed.

I posted the photos for you. The sun was pretty bright and there are a lot of shadows. Next time I'm there I'll try to retake them for you.

Leon Wicha
Hello - I called the Saint Leo Cemetery rectory to find the location of Leon Wicha's grave. The only name that they had close to that was Leon Wicker born 1911, died 1986. I went and took pictures of the grave. His wife is buried there too: Vincenta Iacoboni, born 1911, died 1972. Is this your man? If so I will post the pictures.

Let me know.
