|NelsonHokies||RE: Mary Louise Latimer Lloyd|
Hello - No, unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything to prove this marriage. Edwin Ramsey was actually her third husband, I just can't find where her first two husbands were buried. I can prove the first and second marriages (first was to Taylor Smith in 1934 and the second was to Larry Ermel Sampson the following year). Larry and Mary divorced before the 1940 census was enumerated and then she married Edwin. The only thing I've got is that Edwin's wife as listed on his death certificate was named Mary. Mary Ramsey then married Donald Griffith Lloyd twice, first c.1947 and then again in 1969.

Thank you for posting the information and photos about Jack "Jackie" Denton Nitz, Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Jack's mother, Minnie Mae Denton Nitz, was my grandfather's sister. I believe she died in Maryland in 1988; however, it's possible that her body was returned to Missouri to be buried beside her young son--and maybe also her husband George Nitz.
Were there any other members of the Nitz family buried with Jack?
Thanks very much,

Just wanted to thank you for trying. I was afraid since he died in 1861 that his stone would be non-existent today. I do appreciate you looking for it.

|Linda J. Morris||Charles Benton Erbe|
Hello, I would like to know if you are related to Charles or know anything of them. You see, I am related to the family and I doubt very much they know their history. Your memorial is the only thing in 2 generations I have found. Our family came over with William Penn and lived in Talbot Co., Maryland. They belonged to the Third Haven Monthly Meeting. Do you think you can help me. Most families are very well documented but Quaker familys usually are not.

Thank you. I remember seeing that error on her death certificate. I don't remember who submitted the information.
Ms. Sullivan, I do not know how to input information or have the details to make the links. So wouldn't it be better to have a find-a-grave expert be in charge of it?

I noticed on Andrew's memorial you made a notation about his third child Olga. I believe that is correct as I am researching Olga but was curious as to your source for your notation.Just checking and double checking my info.

Thank you for creating the record for Jack Denton Nitz. I see there is also a large "Nitz" headstone. Jack was my mother's first cousin, and I'm trying to figure out this family. Do you also have a George William Hallor Nitz buried near Jack? George was Jack's father. I believe he died in 1985. Also, is there any chance there's a Minnie (Denton) Nitz buried with Jack? She died in 1988, supposedly in Baltimore, but it's hard for me to believe that they wouldn't have buried her with her family in the Mount Washington cemetery. Thank you for checking! You noted a gunshot was cause of death which makes me assume you have a obit or newspaper article on this girl. Would you share.
Any idea why she is buried with these folks. I cannot find any relationship to them.
Thank for the work you do.

Lisa, As I recall that cemetery took a lot of searching to find. Most of the headstones were broken and on the ground. The best I can do is to clear the weeds and take a few photos. Right now there's ~ 2-4 inches of snow on the ground. It may take until next spring before I can get back there. When it becomes possible I'll do what I can for you. John

The headstone only has his death date.
The birth date on the transcription is wrong.
I found a marriage item in newspaper dated 1882 so the birth date of 1867 does not fit the information. Please review the birth information.

You are very welcome. I apologize for the poor picture of Lewis' and Esther's stone--I usually spray those with water and brush some of the algae off. Before I go back there, I will remember to refill my spray bottle! I like the rising sun motif carved into the top of the Billings obelisk (James and Frank). One of the earliest families of the area!

About a month ago I noticed on Abram's memorial that he died in St. Joe, MO, a fact I'd never heard. This prompted me to use the MO archives site you provided on your bio page to find his death cert. I want to thank you for the web link and listing his place of death otherwise I may never have found the information or at least not in the near future. Abram and his wife, Elizabeth, are my great-grandparents.

Hello again, sorry this comes in bits and pieces.
I found also in the Brookfield Courier a mentioning of Deloss Bass, " Mrs. Esther Meeker and Mr. and Mrs. D. Meeker attended the funeral of Deloss Bass in West Winfield last week" published Wed. March 30, 1921.
There are two cemeteries within the town of West Winfield and also lots of small ones around West Winfield. Our bank is in West Winfield, so next time I am there I will stop by and look if I can find a stone for him, will let you know and you can create the memorial.

I just found the obituary for Eliza McFarland Bass. As it is from 1882, I posted it to her memorial, it does mention Deloss Emmett and Charles as her sons as well as Helen Bass Huntley, wife of Delevan Huntley, both are buried in Huntley Corners Cemetery not to far from Unadilla Forks. But it does say "daughters", I cannot find any info on another daughter.
Added by wienerin on May 04, 2014 6:04 AM
What I was trying to say was that the photo I have is in Unadilla Forks not in Bass. Would it not be better to get the grave stone photos from Bass. When I zoomed it in it does say that they are buried in Bass Cemetery.
When I went to Unadilla Forks I only got done with the older section and all the those are posted. Hopefully I get a chance this summer to go back.
