#71732494 Edward Farrington
The birth year of Edward Farrington should be 1886, not 1888. He was a mayor for the City of New Brunswick and his birthday was 10/16/1886 based on various records about him. Thanks.

105296399 Herbert Van Pelt
Hi, Would you be able to let me know where you got the information to create memorial# 105296399 on 2/15/2013, Herbert Van Pelt, died Oct 1975?

I requested a photo of his grave but was told the cemetery has no record of this person being buried there. However, his son, same name #108009840, is buried there.

Herbert, died Oct 1975, is my grandmothers brother, and I would like any information I can get on him.

Thank you for your time. I know it's been a while since you created this memorial, but any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Nancy Kipp

Barrett J. Riordan
Dunigan/St. James Cemetery

I am looking for the graves of Bernard Dunigan (1828-1904) and his wife, Julia Ryan Dunigan (1835-1912). They were original parishioners of St. James Church and prominent members of the Woodbridge community. Both death certificates list the site of burial as St. James Cemetery and most of their descendants are buried there. I walked the property many years ago, but was unable to find them. Any thoughts?

RE: Vorderwinkler Family
Hi there,
I just saw replies on here from you concerning my great grandparents, the Vorderwinklers & I'm guessing those who would have been my uncles; Frederick & William Brunner, Freddie died very young, I think as an infant. William lived to be about 22 but was profoundly disabled & mentally deficient with what was suspected to be phenylketonuria (PKU) as was Freddie as both looked to be healthy, happy babies. It was tragic for my great aunt & uncle to not have had "normal" children. Anyhew, that's a long story for other family members... I am unsure if you or anyone else had gotten the photos but I'd appreciate whatever you can do/have done.

Mary Stopko Shaner obituary
Hi Jessi,

I have some information on the survivors in the March 1962 obituary for Mary Stopko (not Slopko) Shaner (memorial #94955924), much of which is illegible in the Carteret Press online newspaper. Please let me know how I can get this information to you.

Patrick W Murphy
Hi Jessi:
Thank you for your excellent history of Patrick W Murphy [my Grand Uncle].
Your calculated relationships are correct, but would be clear if you add Susan Murphy as a child [I was close to her].
Susan H Murphy
b 26 April 1908 Woodbridge
d 17 Sept 1988 Woodbridge[346 Amboy Ave]

William Murphy is my Greatgrandfather. We have followed the Murphy ancestors back to 1668, but are frustrated that we can't find the graves of William and his wife Susan Stafford [Murphy]. We visited Woodbridge and the Saint James Cem, along with the historical society.
Details on William and Susan:
William Murphy
b. Jan 1840 Co Wexford, Ireland
1900 lived Back Street, Woodbridge with dau Elizabeth
d 21 Jan 1903 Burlington Co, NJ [don't understand why he was in that location]
Susan Stafford [Murphy]
b. 1842 Co Wexford
d. 15 April 1887 Woodbridge
Please help find their graves.
Had no success in visits to St James Church.
Thanks, Mary McNaught

Thomas Heywood
Thomas' headstone in Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, Union County - Memorial:86916479 was photographed on March 17,2012.

My question is concerning the small stone in front which is almost illegible. It appears to have a date of 1949 to the right of the name Heywood and perhaps an initial to the left of the name Heywood.

Could some kind soul look and see if it is clearer with the naked eye?

Thank you,

Joseph and Katherine Wagenhoffer
Hi Jesse, I have a question for you in regards to Joseph and Katherine Wagenhoffer that you have posted on facebook that are buried at the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetary. My extended cousin in Hungary is trying to put together a family tree and going through some pictures. He was inquiring about their grand-daughter Sharon Green; If you would have any type of info on the family history for them. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Simmen burials
Hi Jessi,
Thank you for all the hard work you do!
I am the Great Grandaughter of Charles A. Simmen. He and his wife Lillie Warner are buried in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen,NJ. I can't find where his parents are buried. They are John Simmen and Margretta Becker Simmen. I would welcome any suggestions. I've heard that there might be a Simmen family plot in a cemetery in Perth Amboy.
Thank you for any help.
