If you still need a picture of a headstone, send an email requesting it. They helped me with a picture of my cousin's headstone.

RE: Sullivan request
It's in. I cropped it or you wouldn't know it's sitting on the dirt (until they sod this area). Oops. Now you know.

The temporary marker is in and I rechecked day. Surely by the end of the week. The permanent ones are up to 10.

RE: Sullivan request
I typically walk the cemetery once a week and reference the VA's resources all the time. I will keep this on my radar.

RE: Sullivan request
I messed this up. I found a new temporary marker for Sullivan today and posted it before realizing it was Edward and Joy. I checked the VA website for Edward James and Dorothy, but they are not there yet. I will recheck the cemetery and the website in a week and will get the photo for you when they arrive. Thanks for your patience.

Sullivan request
If 5/1 is firm, your request may very well expire beforehand. I will post what I can when I can. If you respond to this, I will let you know when the final photo is uploaded. Sorry for your loss.

No, his name was Elsesser and it appears on a monument for the Civil War Vets in Greenwood Cemetery Sharpsburg. Pretty big one or you may be thinking of St. Marys on Sharps Hill.

You're most welcome, I think you have to be the most enthusiastic person on Find A Grave and your picture is perfect. My 3x great grandfather(Civil War Veteran) was Justice of the Peace in Etna.

Mel

If you can contact the Pineview cemetery secretary at vstillman@queensbury.net and get the location, i would be glad to take a photo.
Is the surname Noone or Nooney?

You can forward the response to my email at fitzgfny@verizon.net

Went back to the cemetery and looked in Section 1, Lot 28A and did not see a marker for Gertrude. Please call the cemetery and verify the location and if different I will go back again.

I will have to recheck. Maybe the grass grew over it.

Was Gertrude buried with the rest of the family. The Tintelnot markers I saw were for George, John, Marie, Mary, May and Robert. There was no marker for Gertrude in with those people.

You are welcome for the photo of the headstone. The cemetery was just established in 2007 and everything is so new and clean and the back of the markers list the plot location, making it quick to find headstones to photograph.

Happy Thanksgiving! Car had to be junked back in December. Unfortunately, Vista Memorial lost, temporarily, one of its most avid volunteers. Have a campaign in "GoFundMe" as well as Craig's list for a donated CRV. This week alone I was stuck for two days inside the apartment (2nd floor) because of the flooding. Thank you for your concern.
