RE: Grambo
Actually, nothing needs to be done. The memorial in Decatur is for his son, not for him.

J.J.M.H. Schreurs
I am writing to tell you about a man I knew years ago. His name was Johannes Josephus Maria H Schreurs. He was a member of the Dutch Underground and wrote several books on his experiences.

Found him! He is in Section 15, Grave 172C. I can't understand why he was not in the cemetery records but am happy the mystery is solved.

13th Generation Fairbanks in America
Chester Goscinski
Good morning. I saw your photo request in BG Doyle Cemetery for Pvt. Chester Goscinski. Please note there is already a memorial, with photo, posted for him under #156860406. You have spelled his last name ending in "y", but it is spelled with an "I". Please delete your duplicate memorial. Thank you for your service and warm regards.

Oh....if you go to

http://www.rcancem.org/find-a-loved-one-search/

you will see he's not buried in St. Gert's.

I dropped the last letter and I think that may be his father, so I will go look at the father's grave and around MaryAnn (closest I could come to Marie) and see if the gravestone says something more.

I should be able to do it this week.

Hi....I checked Saint Gertrude's cemetery records and he is not buried there. I went further and checked Ancestry and found a family member who posted his picture to their tree. He seems to have been buried in Florida, where he moved to 10 years before his death. Here's a link to that memorial so that you can request a photo of that grave:

Thank you for your work honoring our soldiers!

Dear Moos, thank you so much for the photo of the grave of my fathers best friend who my father believed had died at Arnhem. It is such a shame that he never knew the truth but at least we know. Thank once again, Harry Pleavin.

Hi! I'm sorry, we didn't see the note asking for 2 photos until we had already gone to the cemetery. We got one of each marker requested, but if you submit another request we can get a second one of the writing closer up next time we go!
