Robert Thomas Lucas
your memorial # 85750462 for Robert Thomas Lucas states: location of burial unknown. I found him yesterday: St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Mo. so I made a memorial page for him #177557641 and put the picture of his grave. I would be glad to transfer that page to you - just let me know. St. Mary's is a beautiful Catholic Cemetery and a lot of the people buried there do not have memorial pages so as I come across them, I am creating new ones. I did not find your page until I checked Ancestry.com to try to link him with his parents. Do you know where they are buried? Let me know what you wish to do - and I will send you an edit to make it easy for you find. Thanks. Ruth Smith

Edward Earl Wittig
Dear Myrna Beech,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, Edward Earl Wittig of Bisbee, Arizona was also a member of this unit. His listed as having severely wounded on 9/13/1918, which would have been during the St. Mihiel Offensive near Flirey, France. My grandfather, Gunder Anderson, was severely wounded the next day.

I'm not sure where I'm going with my project, but I would like to eventually publish something. When I do, would it be permissible to use your photo of the grave of Edward Earl Wittig (Find A Grave Memorial# 74824286)?

Thank you!

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

Hello Myrna,

I mistakenly established a Memorial before I realized that you had done so years ago. I defer to you and your Memorial with the two wonderful photographs. Would you mind including the information I have on Memorial #162174811 in yours? Once you have been able to do that, I will delete the one I have established.

Thank you very much for the work you have invested in this!

Burleigh Murphy
Among my uncle's papers was a photo of a Burleigh Murphy and a note saying my Uncle Burl was named after him. I do not know if this grave listing is the same man. We have Murphy ancestors although the family info is very spotty and I can not prove any connection to Burleigh except this picture. If anyone is related to him I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

Thanks for all you've done.
