Ralph Franks
4th great-grandfather
Hello Cousin debleb (that's the only name I have thus far, but you are definitely my cousin), I have been researching the total clan of Franks' back to the 1600's when they came as a group to this country from Germany because of religious persecution. That is the reason they all have Biblical names. Peter's father was Andrew and Andrew's father was Jacob who was born in the 1600's most likely in Germany. I have a sketchy list of Peter's descendants that I am using to build the tree. There is enough in the sketchy one that I am able to trace your mother's line back to Peter, but there are a lot of missing names in it that you could help me fill in. The book will be finished in about a month.I will give you a complimentary copy of it if you will help me. If you are not comfortable with sharing your email address with me, I would be glad to communicate with U.S. Postal mail. My address is Ralph Franks, 193 Norfolk Drive, Sparta, TN 38583

Ralph Franks
4th great-grandfather
On the memorial 130541426 you referred to Peter Franks, as your 4th great grandfather. My name is Ralph Franks and I am in the process of putting together uncle Peter's family tree. I created that memorial. Please contact me so that I can add you to that tree if you are not already in it rclarkfranks@blomand.net . You could also click on my name on the memorial as the creator and you could also send me a public message in the Find A Grave system. I would like to give you the opportunity to receive a copy of the tree book. Thank You

RE: Marcella Ruff
Hi,

I was looking at findagrave and noticed that for some reason the memorials in the Old Liberty Hill cemetery where Marcella Ruff is buried were deleted. I've added a few back. If you had Marcella's information and wanted to add it back, I still have the photo to attach to it.

Debbie,

Sorry I didn't see this message until just now.

From what I've heard, Uncle Tom's middle name has been debated within the family for quite some time. I've always been told it was Howard. Some speculated that it was Harrison and that Uncle Herman (Herman Harrison Green) was named after him. The 1942 WWII draft registration shows his middle name as Howard, so I continued its use.

Louis LeBlanc @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston
I see you added a picture request for Louis LeBlanc @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. I try to go there at least every other week. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

Thank you,
Cecil Vaden Jr

Try compressing the photos with your imaging software. I presume they are jpg format. If you are unable to do that, you may email the photos to me (if total file size is no more than 5 MB) and I will compress them & add them for you. I acknowledge photo source in the caption.
