RE: Mick
Do a search on the internet for for VA 40-1330. You will find it on

You of course will want to order the Union Veterans style upright stone. They will ship them to your home or to the cemetery office if they will except it for you. You will be responsible to put it on the site or pay to have someone do it for you, whatever the cemetery will allow. That would be your only expense. Small price to pay to get a veterans grave marked.

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions. Baxter

RE: Christine Keeney
Thanks for contacting me. I am glad that I could share something with you. If I can help you with any research here, I will be glad to do it for you. I have walked all the cemeteries here and photographed them. Soon, I hope to photograph the big cemetery record book to maybe get more burial records that are not documented. That old book is huge!

I have the obituary for her. Is she a relative of yours? The newspaper spelled her first name Christian but it is her. I added it to the photo area and will remove it as soon as you see it. I know that Find A Grave does not like them added to the photo area, so just let me know after you have seen it.

RE: Christian Cemetery
Ken, THAT is awesome - you and my husband are distantly related. We had no idea there were any Reeds buried in IL. In fact, MY family comes from that area :) Funny. The next generation of his Reeds are buried in Wisconsin and then near here in Missouri. Thanks so much for responding and providing more specific directions.

Christian Cemetery
Hi, I recently learned that my husbands grx4 grandmother is buried in this cemetery. Her name was Elitha Reed. We will be up that way soon. It looks like we'll be able to locate the cemetery if we travel East on I-80; turn right on E. 27th Road; cemetery is located at the corner of this road and N. 2950th Road. Is this correct? Please let me know and thanks for your assistance.

RE: William S Taylor
Iknow we talked before. I have a new photo of William S. Taylor and Adele Ballard Taylor's grave I took last week while in Quincy for my MIL's 89th birthday. The cemetery is worse. I had talked to some people after the bad storm in Quincy last July and they had worked on getting rid of limbs but the road into it is very bad. My MIL and I were able to put some shepherds hooks and new flowers on the graves. I have a photo I will try to put up on Find a grave if I can and if not my email is let me know and I will send it that way. Clarissa

Can I have permission to use the photos on their memorials to add to a WikiTree?
I too love family history and when I find a connection I just have to add it even though there is no direct connection with my family. It's so darn addicting! Thanks for your time.

RE: Ashtabula, Ohio
Hi! Though it would be fun to find new cousins, I am not related to any of the Browns. I document local cemeteries and the Find a Grave memorials for them are a result of that effort. Best wishes with your research.
