|Dena Wood||Son of Raymond Eugene Summers|
I am Dena Wood, step daughter of Raymond Summers and I thought you might like to know that Papa's son , my step brother, Jimmy Dale Summers, passed in October of 2015 from Cancer in Alaska where he had lived for many years. I am unsure as to what the arrangements were for his burial as he had not been in contact with any family for many years. His sister Cathy and brother Don are in Paducah Kentucky, and his sisters Diane Summers and Sheila are in Texas. God bless.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post the picture of our parents headstone . . . it was very kind of you.
Because of your kindness I've decided that I will sign-up as a volunteer to take pictures in my zip code and I believe my sister is planning on signing up as well.
Once again, thanks a million.

Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of Vincent Guida's gravestone! He is a distant cousin on my dad's side. It's always nice to have pictures for relatives even if it's their resting spot.

Hi!!! So glad to see you active again! We need you! :)
I see Doris's husband Earl has now passed on and is buried with her. I also see that you took and posted photos of the newly carved headstone. Would you mind posting them also on Doris's site? Save me taking all new photos...
She is # 31419935
Hope you are feeling much better. I know it was a long haul for you!

That grass at SVNC would definitely be tough. Glad to hear you're making progress and just wanted you to know I don't really want all the photo requests. :-)

I see that you claimed a photo request so that must mean your new knee is ready to go. I've been claiming all the requests at SVNC because Kim has been busy. I'll step back and let you have them if you're ready (I have plenty of my own memorials that need photos).

Sorry, no relation but if you need any photos or research done in Leflore or surrounding counties in Ok let me know and I'll see what I can do!

|Nancy Poppin Umland||RE: Papin|
Popin, Poppin, Papin, and Pappin are all the same family. It all depends on the accent of the name ie. pa-pin - Poppin or Popin; pap-in = Papin or Pappin. My grandfather spelled his surname as Poppin. His brother's family spells it Popin. I guess it was a way to differentiate the families. For example: Bogdanoff, Bogdonoff, Bagdanoff, Bagdanov, Bogdanov, Bogdonov. It's crazy sometime!
My uncle Alex John Papin settled in Vacaville and was a farmer. He lived on Leisure Town Road. He had a slew of kids and those kids were my first cousins. Then those kids had children and on and on.
I've been to the cemetery and took photos of the family. There are a few I don't have.
It's hot up her in Marysville and we're on drought restrictions.

|Nancy Poppin Umland||Papin|
Hi again..........Small world.....My father's brother is Alex John Papin (buried in the V-E cem). They used a variant spelling. So all of the Papin's in Vacaville are cousins.
