Henry & Elydia Odland

There are prior memorials for Henry and Elydia
that I have made albeit I did not know where they were buried. They are already connected to other members of family. Please delete your memorials of the Odlands. I will give you credit for locating their cemetery though.

Sincerely,
Jim.

RE: Viola Ulrich
Hi, Becky, I was going to suggest you leave it there to associate her with her husband and other Ulrich relatives, but it looks like you already deleted it. :) I think all the records can be linked via Find A Grave, so it will be fine.

What sort of record was it? Was it on a joint tombstone with her husband, EB Ulrich?

Thanks for whatever insight you can provide.

Memorial #157068448 Alvarez Richardson
Thank you so much for your contributions to Find a Grave! I'm so excited to find a grave you just posted in 2016 for my Mother's Uncle, Alvarez Richardson, at White River Cemetery, near White River, South Dakota. I've looked at plots at the Cemetery but can't find his name listed. Was wondering what the Grave Site looked like. My Great Grandfather and his brothers all had unusual first names: Alceres, Alveteius, and Alvarez. Their father had served in the Mexican War and thought the names fascinating.

I thought you might edit Alvarez's death date. I found it listed in the South Dakota Death Index. Death is noted: Jan. 1, 1932, Jones County, South Dakota. D.O.B. is 12/27/1857.

Thank you so much for your assistance!

FAG # 26757602 Ezra Flint Russell
Ezra Flint Russell was A Native Son of Vermont, being born in Stowe in 1838, and serving, credited to that town, in both the 4th & 5th Regiments of Vermont volunteers during the Civil War

I am asking you if I may use the monument photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Lucy Braun is a great-great aunt of mine, and I believe she married a man named Walter Saft (not Soft). Land records here (http://files.usgwarchives.net/sd/spink/land.txt) show a Walter Saft in South Mellette, and a family history I have transcribed also lists the surname as Saft. Is there a photo of the headstone?

Many thanks for anything you can do,
Irene Schneider

Semmler Headstone
I was working on a family tree and got to Find A Grave for Rauson Evans. #124822341, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Armour, Douglas, South Dakota and I believe the headstone belongs to someone else.

Chance Cemetery
Thanks for your quick updates on those edits on memorials for the Hall family and others in the Chance cemetery.

I am looking to find an obit on Edwin Forest "Shock" Hall who died in 1941 and is buried in the Chance cemetery in Perkins county, South Dakota if you are in that neck of the woods.

Thanks

Carl

You just don't pay attention too what people say about your memorials just do what you like, what you think is best to honor your people. Be careful and aware that copypasting is against the rules and if you do it and get reported you will be closed out but the biggest thing not to do is any LIVING People can't be put in, I think they care more about that than copypasting but it is easy not to copypaste, just removed all the stuff that duplicates what is on the top and take out the living people and you have not copy pasted. I rewrite too because I like to. Don't let people discourage you from putting some information on your memorials they are so much better if you do for the future, make those links , they are so important when you can't put in living people, some of those links will have living people you did not do!
