Can you send your e-mail address to
I'm collecting the proof of his military service and will have cemetery staff sign the form tomorrow.
I also have a question - online genealogy shows his middle name as Seymour but his military records and burial information give a middle initial of "C,"
Any proof of which it actually is?

You are shown as managing the memorial for George Leander Alexander in the Alexander Cemetery, DeWitt County, Texas.
I am trying to locate a living family member.
George's son, Timothy Seymour Alexander, served three years in Co. A, 14th US Infantry. After his discharge in 1907, he lived in Oregon City, Oregon and worked at the paper mill. He fell from a stairway at the mill on July 2, 1907 and died instantly. The family chose to have him buried in Oregon City rather than being returned to Texas.
His grave is currently unmarked. He is eligible for a military headstone from the V. A. but this request is most easily done by a family member. I am willing to do most of the paperwork but need a family member to sign it.

My Family and I are so deeply grateful for the photo you took, for Susie Swinney Adams grave-site!
These memorials mean so much to us - some family and friends cannot travel to pay our respects, and recount thier lives, and contributions.
I am looking forward to sharing your photo with my family, and hearing the stories and memories that your great kindness will bring to mind.
Yours is a gift, truly for all times, it eases the hearts of my elderly family members, helps our younger members learn thier heritage, and ask questions about thier history, and will connect all of us to our family members who have yet to come.

If I put in a request for a picture of her stone I apologize. I must have hit the wrong icon. I have already posted a picture of her headstone. You are correct she is buried with the Lepori's.

Thank you so much for the photo you took of Obediah'a headstone. I appreciate having this for my genealogy files, as he was my Gr-Uncle by marriage to Ellen N. Moore.
I haven't found her burial records yet, but this is valuable to me. Thank you for your time and efforts. (I'm wondering if she's possibly buried here too, as most of her family is buried in Gonzales.)

|Beth Presley||RE: Re: Elijah Inglis photos|
My pleasure! I am sorry that I could not find Elijah. My husband's grandmother was a Wimberley and this cemetery was their family cemetery. The cemetery photo on the Find A Grave site is where all of the Wimberleys are buried. Other graves are outside the fenced area. I need to send in another photo. Anyway, I am glad you like the pictures. That's what it is all about!
