|Janalynn Martens||Arlene (Niles) Moore|
If not for Arlene, my mother Mary Lynn McConnell would have died as a little girl (younger than 5 years old). After she was admitted to the ER for a life-threatening injury, and every time her heart stopped, Arlene insisted that other staff in the ER continue reviving her. The other ER staff were going to let her die. However, Arlene told them if they stopped trying to save my mother's life, she would quit nursing. Arlene was my mother's cousin. (Arlene's father and Mary Lynn's grandmother Gladys P. [Niles] Halbert were half-brother and half-sister.)

|Kimberly Howard||RE: Benjamin Putnam|
Hi! Yes, Benjamin Putnam is my 4th great grandfather. I was in Whig Cemetery last fall and unable to find his grave, but thought maybe it was because those older stones are so difficult to read. His daughter Charlotte Bennett, my 3rd great grandmother is buried in Whig. It seems logical to me that he would be there, having died in Butler Township and several generations of this family are buried there. (And, Charlotte died only about 10 months after he did.) If all my information is correct I do have the Putnam line traced back to the Salem Witch Trials. I am showing 29 Nov 1893 as a death date for Olive Price, but not sure how I came up with that now. Please feel free to email me... firstname.lastname@example.org

I am doing more research on Charlotte and found that her married name can also be Bennett, do you have any confirmation on her married name?
Thank you for your help.

Also maybe some information on his first wife Margaret-maiden name, where born etc. Anything would be great.
We like to fill in as much information on our Civil War veterans.

Thanks for contributing photos to Find A Grave. You don't have any copyright or photo copying permission info in your profile there, so as per the default copyright instructions on Find A grave I am asking if it is ok for me to copy your photos to my family tree? I use MyHeritage.com for the online version, and it is set to keep the information private for site non-members.
I always attribute the photo to the place I got it from and the poster, both for credit where credit is due but also for my records.
Margaret L. Baker is a 1st cousin 5 times removed on my mother's side, and since I have a lot of Bakers on my father's side there may be a connection there too.

You are most welcome, Linda!
I am glad to have been of help. :>:>:>
I remembered that I had said when the weather got nicer that I would go back and so I did. Unfortunately, it appears that my camera battery is not working properly as for about my 3rd graveyard trip in a row, I left my house with a full charge and after only a few pics, my battery said it was low.
But I am just glad I found her for you :>
Have a great night!

States: Irving Annie Pearl, burial; F-79, Wellington County, Guelph, St. Joseph's Cemetery
So that'll give me an idea of where to look if it's not in the photos that I took.

I did not shoot the whole cemetery though if we get another mild (without being muddy) day - I can go back out and look for you - it's about an hour's drive from where I live.
I also am not done going through the photos I did get.
I just shot some of the people in my family tree and then randomly walked around and took others that caught my eye or weren't in muddy parts.
I'll be working my way through the rest of the photos over the next week and if I have it - I'll certainly post it and if not, next time I go out there - I'll make a point to look for it for you.

|Kiensle||Genevieve Wendt Moore|
My mother, Genevieve Stierley Phillips, was named "Genevieve" because her mother liked the name so much of Genevieve Wendt - the two Genevieves were first cousins through the Andrew Kinsley line (great-grandfather of the two Genevieves. Andrew Moore and I would be 2nd cousins. I would like to get in touch with any descendents to share information. You will find Helena Kinsley Stierley (sister of Fidele Kinsley) on Find A Grave.
