Hello, I see someone on with the same username, but they have a private profile. I've tried to contact them (possibly you) via Ancestry but I continue to get an error message. I have a question about someone in their (possibly your) tree, Don Joaquin Pose. Please contact me when you are able.

Jesse Madla Jr
I transferred your father in law to you. It doesn't appear you are very active in findagrave. Maybe that had something to do with you forgetting to add Jesse's memorial. Take care.

You're very welcome for the photos. Always nice when they are more meaningful, like in this case. Glad I could make a small contribution & help out.

Hi Madla,

I can't link the parent to the child, you need to contact Don Green (who put in Marion's memorial) and give him the memorial number for Morris so he can do the linking.

Your message:

Hello, just wanted you to know that Morris (710 Magnolia Vew MGW Find A Grave Memorial #78086631) is the father of Marion Tafola Wood (Plot: Mausoleum of the Golden West, Magnolia View, 746 Find A Grave Memorial# 85070805)

RE: Thomas L Lee
I got the info about Celestina from a family member who was part of this family, but can't recall now. The cemetery is close to the front of the property and in a portion that is locked.
Evidently all of the original homestead was sold except for the part where the cemetery stands.

Wish I could help you more.

RE: Minnie Reedy
I am the great great great grandson of James Madison Bennett and have been researching this line for over 30 years. Minnie Reedy's grave is next to James and Maranda's graves at Long Creek. She was the twin of Maggie Bennett Yates and they were raised by their older sister Brazoria after their parents pasted. Her obit lists many of the siblings and they are all linked back to James and Maranda. I too have seen the death certificate. email me at for more information on this family line.

RE: Rosa Runnels Moore
We visited sullivan county Missouri afew
years ago and found two Issac Runnels. One
was killed in the war and was witnessed by Lt
Henry Runnels who was our Isaac's brother. I
received his record to find that there is no
connection to our family. The Issac who lived
is the son of Samuel Runnels. I haven't worked
on this for awhile but I may have a photo of
Rosa's grave someplace. Delphus took alot of
pictures that year but he had a stroke last year
but will see what I can find.

RE: Francisco Menchaca
I see that your surname is Madla/Smith--my reason for recording all the families and doing the research is so they would not be forgotten.
Mine began with Rafael Martinez and his marriage, he is the son of my GGG Aunt Maria Teodora Lazarin Martinez she born 1826 in Nacogdoches, TX and died San Antonio 1911---So if there are any of the ones that I have listed on site and you would like them transfered to you =Just let me know . Thanks for your note ---and you can reach me at

Rosa Runnels Moore
Rosa married Jor Moore and am told she is
buried in Cooper, Texas cemetery. You may
already have this info. Her Grandad was
Samuel Runnels and Catherine of Sullivan county
Mo. Issac left Misouri after the war (1865)
and settled in Johnson county Texas, where
I think Rosa was born. I have a picture of
the family but the young ones are not identified.

Rosa Runnels
We found that Issac Runnels and Brothers
joined the Missouri Home Guard and was called
to serve with the Ohio Infentry during the
Civil War. So, it should be the same Issac.
Issac Runnels and Martha Wagers had a daughter
named Rosa with siblings Sarah, Mary,Myrtle,
Issac Jr.,Mattie, Dora, and Oliver. I'll need
to dig deeper to find who and when she married.
Is she buried in Baker-Lain?

RE: Runnels
Issac Runnels senior died in 1921. I have the
funeral bill around her someplace. The homeplace
is still in the family (Richard Runnels). We
found the family in Sullivan county Mo. before
and during the civil war. Todate we've traced
the family back to Rockcreek, Tn 1808 where
Samuel was born.
Are you part of the family? If so and you re
interested I have quite abit of info to share.
