I am so glad we were able to solve the mystery of the middle name. I know my mother-in-law gave the information on the death certificate but I also knew from talking with her, her writings, and naming her first son her fathers middle name of Richmond the middle name was Richmond and not Richard. We just had to prove it.
In my many years of research I don't know how many times the names, dates, counties even sex have been wrong because of who was taking the information. It's called human error.
I have taken mine off and updated yours. Thank you for being so nice about all this. Keep up the good work. Everyone appreciates all you do.

I have a picture that was taken many years ago before the death date wasn't readable. If you notice in my picture the date is 1933 instead of 1930.

Elmore
Hi, I have been working on the Old Cemetery at Elnora, IN and found this listing # 88919541. After searching and looking closely at the stone, I believe this is Ruth Elmore. She died Nov 9, 1860 and was 56y 10m 6 days old. I have sent edit requests but wanted to explain personally. Thanks.

Robert S. Cheser
Hello,

I descend from James M. Cheser through one of his daughters, Fannie Margaret Cheser.

I noticed that you uploaded photographs of Robert S. Cheser and I was wondering if we are related because I am always trying to find other members of the Cheser family.

Clara Alice (Morris) Wait & father, John Morris
Chance22, I was thrilled to see the pictures that you added of Clara Alice (Morris) Wait to her Find A Grave site. Do you have or have you ever heard of anyone having photographs of her father, John Morris? I would love a picture of him added to his site. I really believe that somewhere out there, there are pictures of him in his Civil War uniform. Thanks for all you are doing. Baxter

It is not necessary for a transfer. I just wondered what the inscription was on the stone. I know he was in the Civil War, Co D, 27th Regt, Indiana Vol. His 2nd wife Mary Jane Campsey Penn 14616621 was a very distant cousin. Maybe you could connect Mary Jane to Dory(Theodore Wagoner Kinnamon). Thank you.

Can you tell me what the inscription below his name reads. I think he was the husband of one of my ancestors. Thank you.

O'Donalds in Scotland, Indiana
Hello. I noticed that you provided photos for stones in the Scotland, Greene, IN cemetery. If it's possible, can you tell me if gravestones exist there for William O'Donald (1795-1883) and Elizabeth O'Donald (1831-unk). Elizabeth was William's third wife. It's also possible that William is buried elsewhere in Taylor Twp, Greene, IN by his first wife, Virginia Richardson O'Donald (d. 1832). I'd appreciate any advice you could give me on continuing the search. Thank you! Mary

Re your request that I delete the gravestone photo you added, please note that I cannot delete it. Only you may delete it. Go to Find A Grave Q&A and you will find instructions on how to do this. You are correct that the Elizabeth Hardisty noted on this gravestone is not Elizabeth Murphy Hardisty. I have requested the contributor of the second photo (identical) delete it as well. Thanks so much.

Happy New Year.
I am contacting you concerning the picture you shared for Elizabeth Murphy Hardisty, Find A Grave Memorial# 16948003. (A family marker for Thomas & Nancy Hardisty)

I saw your comment on the picture that "I feel this is her marker because it is also the marker for Aquilla, her husband. the dates don't quite match."

I do not believe that it is her marker, for a couple reasons.
1st) Thomas & Nancy's all 3 of their children are listed, Aquilla, Margaret, and Elizabeth, with their spouses.
2nd) The Elizabeth listed is Elizabeth Hardisty Ashcraft (1802-1859), my 4xGreat Grandmother, and is listed with her husband, my4xGreat Grandfather, Elijah Ashcraft.

Aquilla's 1st wife is listed below him.

If you live in the area, and could recheck this, I would greatly appreciate it. Elizabeth Murphy Hardisty is my 4xGreat Aunt.

Thank you
