Noah Thompson's parents burial locations
Hi Linda,

Do you know from which source the information came that listed Noah Thompson's parent's burial location?

Father-Smith Co., MS
Mother-Beeson Cemetery, Lauderdale Co., MS

I am sure there is a book with this information, but I haven't laid my hands on it.

Thank you so much for your help.

RE: John Diamond Tombstone
The photo we've been discussing, and that I put on John's page, is at the front of the cemetery. He apparently has another, individual, stone in the cemetery. I'll add that to his page. There are also pictures for a Samuel, Nancy, and Robert Diamond, one or more Watsons, and several Reddicks, as well a numerous unreadable stones.

I think my son has additional pictures taken in the Diamond Cemetery on August 28, 2016. He's going to look for them in the next few days (he lives about 55 miles from me). The cemetery was not easily accessible, about a half mile from the end of the nearest road, and was overgrown with a lot of poison ivy. The Robert Diamond, born 1837, buried there was the husband of Margaret Adams, whom I believe (but cannot absolutely prove) to have been my first cousin four times removed.

Yes, You are more than welcome to use any of my photos. As they are there for all to see, some do not follow the guidelines for giving credit. Thank you

Hi Linda:

I asked this question recently to the Find-a-Grave powers-at-be and was told that any religious names belong in the bio field, not nickname field. Only the name they went by when they died should appear in the name field:

RE: Quin Family Tombstones
Please feel free. I'm always happy to hear that I've been able to connect family to their family members and loved ones through taking pictures of headstones. It has helped me to answer many questions I've had when others have assisted me. Be blessed and happy hunting. =0)

If you have clicked the "request photo" on the memorial, there may be someone in Regina who will post a photo of the headstone.

If there is not one on the Find A Grave memorial page, then no I do not have a picture.

I have entered many memorials online. Can you give me his memorial # and cemetery and I can possibly go out and take a photo for you. There are quite a few Anton Zerr memorials.

Kate Ledbetter
Good Morning,
Daniel Jones and Mary "Polly" Hart Jones are my 2X grandparents.

Rueben Hart and Nancy Ann Rigdon Hart are my 3X grandparents.

I note that Joe is from this line. I have been trying to find out who Nancy Ann's father was. Initially, and still today, I have Beaver Rigdon as her father. I have seen other records that indicate William or George Rigdon could perhaps, be her father.

Would appreciate any inforrmation you could direct me too.

Thank you for the time you have obviously spent taking photos and searching for the valuable information provided by Find A Grave.

Thank you,
Katherine Jones Ledbetter

RE: Thompson
Hi Linda,

I see that we have spoken before. Although we are not showing any shared DNA on gedmatch, we can find that we are sharing on Chr 1 when we reduce the threshold to 600/6 .

My best estimation is that the DNA we are shown to share on GedMatch will be down the Rice or Key line, rather than Thompson or Beeson line.

Obviously, the algorithm is different on Ancestry. We are definitely in the same circle for the Thompson family. I haven't had my DNA tested with Ancestry, but my mother has: Bonnie S.

Hi Linda,

I believe I am your cousin through the Thompson/Jolly line. In addition, I would not be surprised if I were your Beeson/Beason cousin as well.

Here is a link to my mother's Thompson Lineage:

Best Regards,

If you click on the picture, you can read the caption. The photo is of the entire lot, not intended as a photo of the single marker. This is the lot that Charles is buried in. He does not have an individual marker.
