You are very welcome. If you click on the second photo on George's memorial page, we have listed the location and plot number. His grave site is located just north of the office. It is

Thanks for the suggestion. The memorial is that of my paternal grandfather. I am in possession of the original documents relating to the accident, including the newspaper articles, the hospital records and most everything else. I also have the deed to that particular cemetery lot at Elmwood. I do intend to make some adjustments to the memorial, but need to pull this material out of my files and construct something accurate but in keeping with my late father's wishes. In particular, I've noted that the incident took place at approximately the exact location of the Bank of America Stadium. Again, thanks for the suggestion. It prompts me to be a hair more diligent in making those changes.

Thank you for the photo of the plot. The application was for a flat granite marker and appears to have been sent to or delivered to the cemetery on 20-Aug-59. I'm guessing that the death of his mother, in September, has something to do with it not being there.
