|Chad Williams||Permelia Perdue 152665757|
What makes you think Permelia was buried in Randolph County and what is your source for her date of death? The 1880 census lists her husband as a widow in Meriwether County and his obituary in 1888 states he died in Meriwether County.

|Vance Harris||Irene Perdue Elliott|
Hello, I fixed the broken link to Irene's mother. By the way, Irene Elliott Perdue is my GGG Grandmother. I am descended from her daughter Emma Murray Elliott who married Dr. James Calvin Harris who are my GG Grandparents. I have a couple of photographs of Irene but would be interested in a photograph of her father if one exists.

Hi, Paula. I do not have the obit, but would love to have it and a copy of the newspaper page, also. I appreciate your help in filling in Kate's information.

Thank you so much for the info on Mrs. Morgan! I am related to her daughter Majorie "Aunt Louise". Here's her Find A Grave memorial link. I would love any info on the Morgan's that you can find. Aunt Louise lived here in MI, but was taken back to her home town to be buried there with her family. Her hubby, my uncle, died and is buried in MI. If it's easier to communicate via email you can reach me via ourfamilypastNpresent@gmail.com THANKS AGAIN! CMF

I saw one of your photos on a memorial at the cemetery. Do you have any general photos of the cemetery you might submit as "cemetery photos?" I think the more the better.
My Martins and Howells are at the cemetery.

|Lynn Ballard Cunningham||Re: 34402407 John R. Shockley|
I believe that this is a GRANDSON of Leonard Shockley. The father would have been John R. Shockley [Sr.] and mother Sarilla Smith. By 1860 John [Sr.] and Sarilla were in Alabama: 1860 Census Place: Western Division, Tallapoosa, Alabama; Roll M653_25; Page: 330. In 1860 John [Jr.] and Catherine were in Barnesville, Pike County, Georgia: 1860 Census Place: Barnesville, Pike, Georgia; Roll: M653_134; Page: 132

|Scott Chapman||RE: John Austin Kelly|
I'm sorry but I don't know if John divorced his first wife. I think it was common for couples not to go through the legal process, in that time period. The only way to know for sure would be to search for divorce proceedings around that time period.

The marriage record for William and Caroline (Upson County, GA Marriages Book A 1825-1858, page 67) gives her maiden name as Martin. Death certificates can often times be wrong for various reasons. They might have gotten the name or other info second hand or might be mourning the loss to the point of reporting something they would normally know is wrong, if not under stress. In this case they were mixed up for some unknown reason. There are Boyts in the Kelly line, but not in the case of Caroline. The Kelly family crosses into my McRae and McFarlin lines and that is why I know what I do know about them. I would be glad to share anything you might need to know, if I know the answer myself.

|Chet Wallace||RE: Annie Torbert|
I just transferred the memorial. Yes....I've been to the Thomaston-Upson archives but mainly have talked to Claude Burgess there. He showed me a lot of stuff relating to the five victims of the fire and I have shared a lot of my research with him but didn't go too far into siblings of the families of the victims.
Would love to hear anything you have though.

|Chet Wallace||Annie Torbert|
I've updated Annie Torbert's information. As you might know I'm working on a book about the victims of the Winecoff Hotel fire in which one of Annie's daughter's Virginia was a victim. I've talked to Virginia's sister Barbara and her grandaughter Beth Kriebel about Virginia. Would you happen to know where Virginia siblings are interred? Maybe in Southview Cemetery where Virginia is? Through researching the victims I've found out where most are interred and even have posted memorials for the parents and siblings. If you would like I can transfer Annie to you. Virginia's memorial is owned by another person.
Thanks so much.

Transferring the memorials to your wonderful care this morning was terrific. I was so happy when I read your requests. I am so glad you found them and please let me know if there are any more you would like and I will be honored to do so. I hope you have a great day.

Links have been made to Joseph Wheeless. If you are related, I will gladly transferred this to you. Just make the request on Find A Grave. I entered this from an obituary I found in my husband's grandfather's belongings.

|MissyM||Perdue & Perdue|
Thanks for transferring the records for Antioch Baptist Church #1. However, there are still 2 remaining on the Antioch Baptist Church records that need to be transferred: Frank Howe Perdue & Lennie. S. Perdue. They are already listed on the ABC#1 records, however there are not pictures of their markers. If you will transfer yours, I will delete the duplicate once your transfer has been made. Thanks so much for your help in getting this corrected.

All names listed under Antioch Baptist Church should be transferred to Antioch Baptist Church #1. There are two churches located on the Yatesville-Barnesville Road - Yatesville, GA. I am and have been a member of Antioch for many, many years, so please transfer this information to the correct church.

I was speaking with Grady this morning and we thought of the Barron -Perdue Cemetery. You may already know if it but if not we thought we would suggest it as the possible answer. I will keep searching and please let me know if there is anything I can do.
