Mary Myrick
Thank you for your kind & thoughtful information about where Mary Myrick is buried. Very appreciated. She is not a relative of my husband, Ed Myrick, as he is related to Isaac's 2nd wife and Mary was 1st wife. But he is related to Mary's children (half brothers) Their first son died young while serving with the Army fighting Indians in Oregon. But I was able to trace the 2nd son, Myron, to McDonough County, Illinois (Isaac was living there too with 4th wife) & eventually Myron died in L.A. and is buried there with his wife. Still unable to trace the daughter, Mary J. after they left Michigan in 1860. Eva

RE: John Lewis Watson #103466534
Thank you so much! This is a great website! I also found missing death information from the 1840's for Isaac Watson, John's father. Through comments on your page, I also found the Petoskey Historical site for Greenwood Cemetery which allowed me to find obituaries for many members of the Watson family through their newspaper linkage. What a wonderful idea to link obituaries to the list of burial records. Best wishes!

Thank you for posting information about John Watson! Would you be willing to share the source of your information posted on John's memorial? Is it from an obituary? family records? I would like to include it in our family history and want to give credit where credit is due!

I am descended from John's Uncle, Orrin Hawkins.

Thank you so much!

The spouse that is linked to this Elias Spencer is, I think incorrect even though the last name of the mother on the death certificate is Wheaton, the wife of Elias Spencer was Lucetta Warner. The dates are correct for her but not the last name. Lucetta was the daughter of Wait Hurlbut Warner and Annis Baxter. Thanks!

RE: Maxine Hattem
Yes! Thanks again! Maxine played at the Amway Grand Plaza (when it converted from being the Pantland) but then you probably already knew that. She also played regularly at Mountain Jacks. And by the way, I'd be willing to bet I have the exact Hattem shot glass that you do. (I just used it last night.) If you were part of the old gang, we may know many of the same singers who followed Maxine. So nice to hear from you!

P.S. to last message: And how exciting to see the album cover to Maxine's lovely record. We have a copy of it that she gave us many years ago! How we miss her! Thank you!

Mose and Maxine Hattem
Wow! We were thrilled to see the old photo of Hattem's Restaurant & Lounge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. One of us here had been there many years ago, but in more recent years, Hattem's (arguably the most popular place in Grand Rapids) had been sold. We spent time with the Hattem's at the Pantland Hotel and other great nightclubs where Maxine performed, and at their lovely home on Cadillac Drive in East Grand Rapids. How we miss them! They meant so much to us. Your picture was like a shot in the arm that made life heavenly. Thank you so very much! How wonderful of you!

Jacob Constantine Lang
Hi there. I think you may have entered my great great grandfather into Find A Grave. His middle name has been a mystery to me until now. Every document has only said Jacob C. Lang. This is from Holy Sepulchre in Rochester, NY. Can you tell me the source for his middle name, Constantine?

Thanks bunches,

you might be too late Henricus family in Holy Sepulchre
I left your family, for you to document them, but someone, may have beat you too them.

PS I am sure you would have done a better job if you created them

Added by BobHartman on Nov 30, 2016 10:32 PM

I noticed that some of your (our) family (Henricus) that are buried at Holy Sepulchre, have plots and dates of burial information posted, but do not have memorials on "Find a Grave", I'll leave that for you, if you want. There is also very good information at and you can visit my tree at
I'll be glad to invite you if you wish to see living members.

1st transfer complete
You do good work, and I am happy to transfer, anyone you would like to manage. Louis Henricus (1843 - 1882) is the maternal grandfather of the wife of my 1st cousin 2x removed. I'll transfer everyone else first. Expect my complete co-operation.

Thank you for your suggestion
It was most helpful. You do very good work.
If I have any memorials that are more closely related to you, I would be delighted to transfer them to you. Your efforts are very much appreciated by me and the entire Find a Grave community
