Jen Snoots
Hi there!
Regarding the info you sent about a Snoots and murder...I know all about that (found not guilty, but who knows) but chose not to put it on the memorial. Stumbled upon it accidentally myself a few years ago!

Henry and Elizabeth Brackman Bruns
I added them to find a grave and sent requests to add their children as links. I could not find one child on find a grave and don't know what cemetery he is buried in - that is Lawrence. The other children should start appearing under his name soon. Henry's number is 140790619

I just found the obit for Henry's wife in the Minster Post on February 8, 1946 if you can get it online. It lists their children and grandchildren. I cannot find him in the Santa Clara cemetery on find a grave. He may need to be added if I can figure out the correct cemetery.

RE: Charles Bruns help
I have the death certificate for Henry A. Bruns 1970-1949. It says he is buried in Santa Clara Cemetery in San Jose, California. It is signed by his son, Vincent. He may have been living with him at the time. If you need any more information on the "Mercer County" Bruns family, I can send my family tree information. I have been working on the descendants of John and Mary Elizabeth Frilling Bruns. I am not related to them as I am from the "Egypt" Bruns family, descendants of Johann Heinrich Joseph and Antonetta Schunck Bruns. I am just trying to get them all figured out.

RE: Charles Bruns 74792978
This Bruns family is very confusing due to all the Charles, Henrys, etc. I fought with this for quite awhile until I think I figured it out. This Charles who married Carolina Bergman only had one child, Henry A. Bruns born in June, 1870 and died 2/27/1949. I could not find his burial place. He married Elizabeth Brackman in 1894 and they had 5 children: Carolina Oct 1895 who married John Franzer, Anna M. 12/1896-1968 who married Aloys Mescher, Lawrence 6/22/1899-6/1/1957, Clara 12/7/1904-9/10/1934 who married W. H. Paul, and Vincent 7/10/1910-10/30/1960. At this point, that is all I know. I haven't spent any more time on this particular family yet. Elizabeth Brackman Bruns' obit says they were living in CA at the time of their deaths. Another source says Henry is buried in Santa Clara, CA. I haven't found it yet.

Good Luck, Joanne

RE: Andrea Tramonte death certificate
Know what you mean. We get the Pennsylvania death certificates for free here in Pennsylvania. Don't know why that would make a difference, but we get them from Ancestry.

Salem Hgts. Cemetery suggestion
It was back in Jan when you suggested to me that the Sr. Collette in Salem Hgts might be who I was looking for. Several months went by before I had a chance to check it out. Lo and behold, it was her!!! Several more months go by and I am just getting around to thanking you. THANK-YOU VERY MUCH!! A brick wall just crumbled.

May name is Dave Barga. Just as an FYI, I used the photo of Anton and Elizabeth Eilerman for my tree on giving you the proper credit. Anton's father, John Henry, was my 2nd great grand uncle.

As a point of interest:
I just noticed that you that Dred Scott's headstone is in the background. The tree that in before the street the light grey stone on the other side of the street just to the left is Dred's.
See number 19.

I got the rest on, I will work on the tall monument. That will be interesting. The Foil was ok, but still needs something more.

Happy Hunting

RE: Osgood Photos
You are welcome. This cemetery is easy for me because it is my home church cemetery and most of my recent ancestors are buried here. I happened to be meeting my 3 sisters at one of their homes in Versailles to go to Michigan to visit our brother so I scheduled another day to get these pictures done. I have been wanting to do this forever! I have many more to take of cemeteries in the surrounding communities sometime.

Dr. Alois Willke
Thanks so much for the reference to Dr. Willke. I added it to the memorial page just as you had noted. It gives me a clue to a mystery in my family tree - my mother (who is related to the Willke's) mentioned a relative who was a nun at the convent at Mary Stein. I haven't been able to track her down. She went by "Sister Coletta" and was born abt 1875.

Kathrina Striecker
Hi. I got your email regarding Kathrina (111442162) and wrote back but the email bounced back to me.

So I'll let you know what I wrote here, in case you didn't get the email.

I checked the cemetery book I got her information from and it is the same as I have on her memorial. The cemetery book was compiled in 1992 and I have seen some mistakes in it compared to the memorials on find a grave. In the book, her name is listed between "R. Meyer (no date)" and "W. Meyer (no date)". I'm not sure if that is how they are buried in the cemetery or not. Unfortunately, this book does not have the burials listed by row or plot.

Hope this helps you. If you have her photo, and if you think it is right, you can add the photo. Thank you.
