George Snoderly
I looked up his death date in his Compiled Service Record, and he died May 6, 1864. The date Green Lawn gives was most likely his buriel date.

Are you sure the Henry Snoderly that she's linked to is her husband? If so, she had more than one child after he died.

Mary Thompson Lewis - Find A Grave Memorial# 44021066
Thanks for the photo of the grave stone of Mary Thompson Lewis -- would you be willing to grant me permission to use your photos on my file for my ancestors? I have no interest in the photos for anything other than genealogical purposes and I place credit in the photo description on ancestry.

Thanks for your consideration.

Nancy, the transfer should now be in effect.

Eliza Denison McCall
Thank you for the information about Eliza from her death certificate, but I'm unclear about what the information is and what needs to be changed. If you want I can transfer the management to you. She is the sibling of a direct ancestor, not in my direct line.

RE: Carson and Rosella Humphrey
It is really not your fault at all. Highland on Kingston Pike used to be called Highland West, but they changed the name once urban sprawl surrounded the cemetery. Most locals still call it Highland West, even though the cemetery owners now just call it Highland.

Carson and Rosella Humphrey
I have been walking Highland Cemetery and had added Carson and Rosella memorials. But when I searched ancestry, it showed you had already created memorials for them. I know it's confusing but you have them at the wrong cemetery. Would you like to change the memorials so that they are at Berry Highland Cemetery on Kingston Pike instead of Highland West on Sherrill Rd? If you would do that, I'll delete my memorials and add the marker photos. Also, their daughter is buried next to them at Highland Kingston Pike.

RE: McGill
Yes Ma'am it was. I don't like to mess with stones, but I had to wipe away some of the stuff that was on it to confirm that it was correct.

And you're very welcome.

Calvin Walters
re: Roy & Ralph Walters -- I can add a note to Calvin's memorial, but I cannot add them as children. 1. I don't know which memorial they are. 2. The owner of their memorial will have to make the connection. If you have that info, please contact those memorial owners.

Clelia Casey
RE: A E Harris
Hi, Nancy--I know that Archelas Harris and his wife Elizabeth were living in the Diamond Hill District in the 1860 Census and somewhere known as Sandy Point in the 1850. He had six daughters and one son, whom I have not attempted to follow. Someone else has suggested that his wife's maiden name was Draper, but I have no hard evidence of it.His sister was my ggg-grandmother, Catherine Harris Bennett, and his father was Rev. Archibald Harris, who is buried in the Harris cemetery in Lilesville. I don't know of any Brewer connections. Does this information help?

RE: Bessie Gabriel
Nancy: You are welcome, glad I could help. I am willing to go and dig for stones, most people will not take the time, Bessie Gabriel's stone was completely overgrown, I poked around her plot with a screwdriver until I found it and cut a piece of sod away to expose it. Her stone is a small (about 4" X 12") and was easily overgrown. I quite often go out and look for the stones that others haven't found, I guess I like the challenge... Happy Hunting...

William Rixey McAdams
Mr. McAdams was buried in the Unity Cemetery in 1954.

Later his wife Mary had him relocated to the Nebo Cemetery, Henderson County, TN.

Glad to make your acquaintance!! Perry's wife is a sister to my mother. He was a great man. Beulah was supposed to be buried with her first husband in Jackson, but ended up being buried with her second husband in Union City, TN. I have added that pic also.
