Thanks for letting me know I had inadvertently created a duplicate. I removed it. Odd though, because the photos uploaded to the memorials were different, with different dates. It appears the older listing was moved from another cemetery. Would you be able to shed any light on the discrepancy?

Pamela Palan
Palan/Dixon
Hello:

My great-great grandparents, James R Palan and Ann M Dixon, are the parents of Julia Ann Palan. Let me know if you have questions about this side of the family.

Thanks!

Palan/Kennedy Edits
Hi
You sent me some edits for the Palan/Kennedy family in Minneapolis. I'm wondering if you are related. I have a cousin from another family line who is a Palan and is part of this line and might me interested in connecting if you are also related

I never said they were cremated. This is what it says:
Burial:
Cremated, Other.
Specifically: Cemetery Location Presently Unknown

NOTE: Cremated, Other means Cremated OR Other and then under Specifically I typed out " Cemetery Location Presently Unknown "

Thanks for the heads up on the 2nd wife whose birth I have wrong

I did the entire cemetery as a project, as my wife is there

Have no other connections, so if someone is interested or related it is a pleasure to pass them on for maintenance.

RE: John Kneland #53853652
I believe I originally got the date from 7 Generations of the Kneeland Family by Stillman Kneeland This book had no footnotes. However I took his age at death from gravestone and subtracted it from death. The number was the 1632. He was a direct ancestor of mine.

Thank you for the information. Polly seems to have confused his wife Mary and his daughter Mary. I deleted that sentence and linked your bio.

RE: Marjorie Bowe Holland
Thanks Elizabeth for your note re Marjorie Holland. It's a difficult one because it's quite possible the death date was entered in the database by the Church or the USA registration may be a record for death duty purposes / death of a US citizen abroad etc etc. I will decline at the moment but when you have some clarification please let m eknow. In the meantime I will write to the Church in Rio and see if I can get some information. They may have some additional data in their papers. Cheers TonyM

RE: Bowe family
Hello, Betsy! I know you are into tracing family history. Are you interested in the link of my mother and father? That would include Boudreau and Langlois connections.

Elizabeth, thank you for the touching note. People like you are exactly why I decided to transcribe the whole cemetery rather than just my family. I happy to see him linked to his family.

Hi Elizabeth,
You have my daughter to thank for the great photos, she brought them as a souvenier of a trip she took to Ontario. Also thanks to my local librarian for getting a copy of the booklet of marker transcriptions from U C V. She had to 'think outside the box' to get it for me as it is a reference only item!! so not available through Inter Library Loan.

I shall pass your thanks on to both of them. I only wish all the markers from the various villages that were flooded had been saved rather than a select few.
