To whom it may concern:

In an effort to comply with this request, permit me, please, to suggest that the closely related person to the deceased, make an effort to discover the name of the person who ordered the cremation of Mr. Skinner at Boyd Panciera Family Funeral Care, Inc.

Perhaps the person to whom the cremains were delivered is still at this time in possession of them; also perhaps has already disposed of them in some manner also unknown at this time.

A diligent a search has been completed of the local cemetery records and no records for a Leon Skinner is the result.

This volunteer made the following visits:

Boyd Panciera Family Funeral Care, Inc.
6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL 33024
Phone: 954-989-6400 - Fax: 954-964-3680
Met with Daniel who confirmed it was Boyd Panciera, (mentioned above) that made the death arrangements for Leon Skinner. Daniel confirmed cremation of Mr. Skinner. Daniel suggested either of two local cemeteries might be searched; they being:

1. Fred Hunter's, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024
Phone: 954-989-1550 - Fax: 954-987-2997
Family Service Counselor, Debbie

2. Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, FL
Phone: 954-792-9360.
a Front Desk Receptionist and a Greeter

Personal visits to both cemeteries produced the same result, "No Record for a Leon Skinner."

If you are able, sufficiently concerned, and have a "worthy" connection to Mr. Skinner,
I believe that the tracking of the cremation service, via Boyd Panciera to the delivery by them of the cremains to a particular recipient would be your next step to take.

Unfortunately, as a volunteer Find A Grave photographer, I am not considered authorized or worthy enough to receive such personal information from the funeral home.

Maybe you will have better luck.

P.S. Should you discover the ashes of Mr. Leon Skinner, Jr. were scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, I would be pleased make a photo of his part of Atlantic coastline as a fitting contribution to his memory.
