RE: Roselle Nutt Howell
Dear Dale,

You are very welcome. Yes her father died very young.

No I am not related. Often as I work on my family I find someone in Find A Grave that is intriguing, and work on them also.

Regards,
Jim

Drexel Beck
RE: Beck family
Hi Dale, I will be glad to help in any way I can. I think my Family Tree on Ancestry.com is public, so you may find the information you are looking for there. I believe Cora was a half-sister of my Grandfather, Charlie E. Beck. Do you know when Cora moved to South Georgia from the Rome, GA area? I ask because my Grandfather's middle name is Euphrates which I believe is Cora's husband's name. Please feel free to email me directly at drexelbeck@gmail.com

If you are not a member of Ancestry.com (and I don't think you have to be a member to see my Tree), let me know more names (Mother, Father, etc.) associated with this cousin you seek, and I will do some looking. I may or may not have included the children of my Grandfather's brothers and sisters on my Tree, but the links I have may allow me to find the children's names.

Do you have any information of Ellen League? Was she Cora's Mother? Step-Mother?

So good to hear from you. Sincerely, Drexel.

I've sent a suggestion through Christina Schmidt Aschenbach's memorial so you can connect her to her parents.

Hi Dale,

Put in a photo request for Hannah's memorial and see if someone might respond with a photo. I see there are a lot of request at that cemetery though.

Would it be ok to use your photo of Hannah in my tree? I will give you credit and would not post it anywhere else.

I just think it's great you found her.

RE: Conner Family Cemetery
Hi Dale, The cemetery is on private property but you can visit. The cemetery is in a beautiful location overlooking Bull Run Creek and Valley, which was the location of the William Conner farm. I listed the cemetery on Find A Grave and have been there several times to take photos. The cemetery map on Find A Grave shows you the exact location of the cemetery, in the woods where the marker is shown. That map will make it easy to reach the cemetery from the Raccoon Valley #117 exit off of I-75.

Your husband Ed will also be related to Curd and Susan (Overton) Cox who lived on and are buried at their farm in the Cox Family Cemetery just a short distance up Bull Run Creek. They were the parents of William Conner Jr's wife Sarah (Cox) Conner. Curd Cox was a Veteran of the Revolutionary War and fought At The Battle Of Guilford Courthouse.

RE: Conner Family
Hi Dale, I always like hearing from a cousin. William Radnor Conner is my 3rd great grand Uncle. His father William Conner Jr. is my 4th great grandfather.

I did have Hannah (Conner) Winstead in my family tree, but very little information on her. I did see her in the 1940 Hamilton County, OH census living with her daughter Edith and son in-law George Vanderpool. But could only find little additional info. I will search a few more places this weekend and let you know if I find anything. I'll also keep an eye out for her on Find A Grave.

If I can help you with anything in the Knox TN area just let me know.

Your TN cousin
Bobby

RE: Joseph Howell Esq.
Dale: Forgive me if I ask a lot of questoins but with so many Josephs runing around in the family it
is hard to keep up with the right one. The William
Howell I have was born 14 March 1846 and died 6 March 1912. He married a Elizabeth Sides on 12
Feb. 1801 and John Howell security. That is all I have on him. If this is your William I would love to hear more about that of the family. My role is to join as many of the Howell line as I can. I grow up not knowing much about them and of course I did not ask questions until the main line where all gone. Thank you for your time and help. Will
be more then glad swap info with you.

Dale:
I also got that message via another Barge descendent. I replied, primarily to be sure they included grandson Edward Madison Barge in their list. Oddly, he wasn't originally in the D.A.R.'s records. Good grief!! The tendrils of family are myriad.
The ceremony sounds interesting and I would certainly attend if it were closer to Dallas where I live.
Thank you for letting me know. Stay well.

Just down in the bio add that she was married 1 to...married 2...Two last names will not come up in the search. I would use the name that will go on her headstone.
