RE: Gravestones
The photos I have are all good headstone photos.

There are only a few that have information on them that took perhaps two or three photos to get all or most all the information because they are large 4 X 8 ft. in-ground markers.

I know which cemetery a lot of the gravestones belong in, but may have a few confused. If I enter them into the wrong cemetery and someone knows or discovers it, will they notify me so I can correct the error?

I also have some gravesite information without photos...names, dates, and plot number in the cemetery. Can I enter that information since there are no photos?

Do I proceed?

Hi Blue Bonnet. I'm sorry I've never posted to here, but I've never understood how. I am going to try to post one either tonight or tomorrow. I have hundreds of photos to post, many are my direct family or distant relatives and many more are photos I took just because I was there I thought I would take them and send them to Find A Grave for who ever might need or want them. I don't know if I can just post the photos or if I have to write all the bio stuff I see beside pictures of other gravestones. After reading all that info I found at the Find A Grave website, I believe I should post only a few photos from just one of the several cemeteries at a time and do the bio as I go. I have many other things I am involved in, so I don't have a lot of time all at once to spend on this activity. I do have Beckett information for my SC relations. If you want me to post it first in case any of it helps you, I will do so.

Hi BlueBonnnet - thanks for your response. I'm always looking for more Rentfrow info especially photos. I can give you access to a private Rentfrow site if your interested just need your email address. My ancestor Henry Rentfrow son of Moses, might have known your Rentfrow - cousins maybe? He enlisted in the Effingham area during the civil war. His memorial is 83317419. His wife, Betsy Lavina Knight Rentfrow stayed in the Effingham area during at least part of his enlistment. I think I granted you access to my ancestry tree in the past. Have a great day and contact me for access if you want.

Hi BlueBonnet
Wondering if you might supply some info regarding parents and wife for your George W. Rentfrow. We have shared posts before on Ancestry I think. THanks!

RE: Married.
I will see what I can do. Thank you for calling this to my attention. If you are related to these people, I would like to communicate with you at my home email account. Can you help me figure out how to contact you in a way that is not public? I would like to talk to you about the Marhanka family book I am writing. I have 154 pages thus far without any photos and possible 300 pages of photos.

According to my research, Thomas Campbell is my third great uncle. I am working on this side right now on - Sharkey family.

I have also hit a DNA match with a direct ancestor of Thomas Campbell.

RE: Thanks so much!!!
Hey there! I would LOVE to transfer them to you. Do you want about 6,000 more? Hee hee hee. It's nice to transfer people to someone who is related to them and know that they will update the page and put on pics, etc. I've been tackling the Crothersville Cemetery lately, so keep your eyes peeled for anyone else you might be kin to. It's nice to know that your work is appreciated, too. Thanks for the nice words. Have a good day! :-)

Sandra Thayer
Grandparents/Aunt and Uncle
Dear Blue Bonnet,

I have been searching for the graves of my grandparents, Corbin and Alta Bond and also my Aunt Zula and Uncle Roy Smith. I know they were all buried at St. Johns Cemetery because I did attend the funerals of my grandparents, but I cannot find the graves.

Can you please help me?

Sandra D. Thayer

RE: Everett Burget
No I'm not related. However, I knew Everett's brother Leonard & Eudora Burget pretty well growing up. We attended the same church; they are both buried in our church cemetery; I've linked Leonard in Everett's bio. Also, their granddaughter, Rhonda and I went to grade school together. i would also see them when we would spend time together at her house since she lived next door to them. Her grandparents had probably 5-10+ acres in the country and her parents had built a house on the land as well.

RE: Ida Lewis headstone
Ida is in Section AA Lot 206. I did locate a marker for the person on 207 so I am pretty sure I was in the right spot. Also she is listed in the Voss Funeral Home records.

You're very welcome. It was my pleasure. I wish it could have been a better shot, but it was raining and lighting, and I do not remove flower or other rememberances.

Today I went to Greenlawn Memorial to see about getting photos. The office refused to tell me where to find her grave without a signed acknowledgment from you. They gave me a copy and I could type and send to you if you are still interested and then you can email it back to me. The cemetery is to large to walk the whole area.
