|Canuck Gal||# 85971427 children for Lucy J Hunt d|
Thanks Marla for taking such quick action. You had provided links to 5 (different) children in this now deleted memorial which are not yet included in #74833341:
Vernon Hunt (1895 - 1925)*
Myrtle Serena Hunt Guess (1897 - 1965)*
Pearl D. Hunt Hutcherson (1898 - 1976)*
Eula M. Hunt Cannon (1901 - 1979)*
Sherman Hillis Hunt (1905 - 1965)* ...
Are these children valid for this couple?

Thanks for providing this memorial and photo for this distant cousin of mine buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. It looks like there is a second memorial for this same woman, with the same years and same husband: #74833341 for Lucy Jane Hughes Hunt, wife of Josiah Johnson Hunt. Do you agree? Merge potential? Many thanks, Claudia

Hi Marla -
I am coming in to Crittenden Co to research the Allen Walker family and am wondering if there are more graves in the Baker Cemetery than what are listed in findagrave (just 3). A DC for son, Thomas indicatea he was buried there, and I'm wondering if its worth a trip out to see the cemetery while I am in the area.

I have been working to link the people in Pleasant Hill cemetery with their relatives. I know you have a lot of relatives buried there. Just wanted to let you know that I have them all linked, so now you can see who all is related to whom. If you see any correction I need to make, please let me know. ICD

No, you didn't offend me at all. I certainly didn't mean to give you that impression. I always transfer memorials I've created to family members of the deceased.
I didn't know your step-father. I basically "re-created" that memorial from the obituary, since the original contributor who had done it went crazy one day and deleted all of the nearly 13,000 memorials he had created! I had some pages of obituaries that fell in the time span when that user had been creating them for a large part of Southern Illinois, and whoever I checked from those lists that did not have a memorial I made one for them. Albert Mahnke was one of those. It's unfortunate that many of the memorials that user had created have probably NOT been re-created yet.

Since he was your step-father, I went ahead and transferred Albert Mahnke's memorial to you. I added the birth month and year, but as 1939 instead of 1938. Doing the math from the obituary makes it seem that 1939 would be correct, since he had not yet had his birthday in 2011 before he died. I guess the age in the obituary could have been wrong, but I went with what I had. You can make any changes you want though, since you now manage the memorial. :)
