|Juaname||Burial info in obituaries|
Hey David, Thanks for transferring CL Richardson's memorial to my management. As for the burial info in obits, it has been my observation that it seems to be a relatively new -- the last 20 or so years -- practice to not include burial information in obituaries. Not sure why that is the case, but I find fewer and fewer more recent obits that include burial information. And yes, to us genealogists, it can be a rather frustrating trend. I'm anxious to pay my respects to CL when next I get to Straley Cemetery, where four direct generations of my ancestors rest.

|Donna Dinstel||RE: Photo|
I had always thought the government marker at the foot of his father's grave belonged to his father. Today I saw it was not for him and took a pix. Glad I could get your request! I appreciate it so much when the people up north get my photo requests, I usually make an effort when I am at a cemetery to fill a couple of requests. :-)

|T.H.||RE: New Zion Cemetery, Catahoula Parish|
Upon further research per www.la-cemeteries.com, unfortunately it isn't the same cemetery as Rev. Andrew Powell (my grandad) is buried. However, I did see another entry for the same Rev. Oliver being buried in Zion Cemetery in Grant Parish, and I don't believe that particular entry to be correct.
While both Foules and Sicily Island are both in the Catahoula Parish, Rev. Oliver is buried in New Zion Cemetery in Foules, LA and Rev. Powell is buried in the cemetery at New Zion Baptist Church in Peck/Sicily Island, LA in which he lived a stone's throw from during his lifetime (LOL!). I hope this helps! :-)

|Mary Martin Eisel||Ashland Cemetery.|
Dear David. I am sending this message to everyone who has a memorial set up at the Ashland Cemetery.
It is listed as being in Gilmer, when it is not. It is in Ashland, but since they no longer have a post office, the next closest town is Diana 75640.
Will you go in and see if you are able to make the correction? I have contacted F.A.G. and am doing all I can to get it changed. Thanks, Mary

Hope you are well an that your family are well also
When I went to West Virginia years ago to see
George he said he had given the Mormons some
of the Moose History That is why I am trying to update these Volumes. George gave Mike & Scott Moose the copyrights and I e-mail then when I have some info to add. These Volumes have kept me going now that I am a wheel chair a lot. I love going to Cemetery's the old stones are so pretty. I can no longer do that, so the computer is my best friend till I do some thing to mess it up and my grandchildren have to help me fix it. Going to get a new one this one is old as the hills.
Have a great day

Charley was a special friend and HS classmate of my husband. We enjoyed many pleasant hours with him since his return to Lampasas. He will be sorely missed by the Wednesday morning breakfast group of 1957 HS grads.
Thanks for the obit. I added it to his memorial.

|Ike||Marie Breault CRAMPTON|
Do you have any details regarding how this lady obtained the family namer CRAMPTON? Her memorial omits mentioning a husband. Is she the same lady as who married a William CRAMPTON in 1993 according to Connecticut on-line marriage files? The memorial says she was survived by a son with the family name POMERLEAU.

Hi David! Thanks for the addition of her parents! If you are related or connected in any way, I'd be happy to transfer her to your care. I'm not related that I know of… it seems I'm connected to so many in this cemetery! Just let me know! Blessings, Dana

|LADONNA GREER COLLETT||Pablo Vasquez|
Regarding the duplicate listing I made of Pable Vasquez: I added the c/m photo I had on mine to the original contributor's listing, and deleted my listing. I correspond with this other contributor and he said he got in trouble for listing too much info from the obits.

|Ben C Jones||Virgil Strickland Briles|
Strick Briles was my mother's first cousin. I sent you an edit to add his father. His parents were divorced, but I think his mother was buried in the same cemetery as he and his father. But I couldn't find a profile for her on F.A.G. I'll have to drive down there sometime and confirm she's buried there.

I noticed too late that you created a memorial for my late aunt, Glenda Hylton Glasscock, before I did and just a couple of days without her death.
I wonder if you would please, please be willing to delete your memorial, or perhaps allow me to manage yours so that I may add pictures and a personal bio for her. It would mean so much to me. I'm happy to be helpful to you in any way possible.
Thank you for your consideration.

What a nice surprise to see the transfer of the memorial for Charles White to me. I was delighted when I found his Find A Grave memorial and the obit today. He was my mom's first cousin. Thank you for creating the memorial. May the favor return to you.
